My Stepfather Is My Mate

My Stepfather Is My Mate

The fire's mesmerizing display felt like a metaphor for the complex emotions that swirled within me. Seated comfortably on rugged logs around the fire, the world seemed to hush around us, cocooning us in a tranquil bubble of existence. The warmth of the flames against my skin created a sense of intimacy, a tangible connection to the very heart of nature's elements. Each crackle and pop of the fire seemed like a whispered secret, a reminder that the line between the wild and the human was sometimes more ethereal than concrete.

Only giving 5...️ so my review stays at the top. Really I rate this book 1...️ search down to see my other review what I said. Author claims to update 2x/wk but only updates 1X/month if at all. The writing is very bad in both story composition & grammar. On plus side The story is unique & has potential

Luna's Revenge: My Mate Want Me Back

Luna's Revenge: My Mate Want Me Back

I looked around and then saw that the forest was crackling as flames licked at the underbrush, spreading slowly but relentlessly. Smoke curled into the sky, darkening it with a heavy shroud, while embers floated like fireflies in the heat. The trees, once proud and green, were now getting blackened and charred, their branches snapping and falling as the fire crept forward, consuming everything in its path. I was very shocked. The forest was burning so fast and the fire spread so wildly. I struggled to get those things off my feet but I already realized that they were not just naturally woven sticks, but there was an energy backing them too.

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

Elf To Tame A Werewolf

‘Lupion grant you rest’, they chorus as she sets the fire to the wood. They slowly pick up the pace, they run along the length of the wood, they begin to roar with dark excitement. They consume everything they touch, and I watch the smoke billow to the sky, wondering what exactly they would be thinking now, if they were indeed on their way to the afterlight.

Fading Slowly but Surely

Fading Slowly but Surely

It then traveled toward the wooden dominoes. The winter breeze blew aggressively. In mere moments, a massive fire broke out in the park. The towering flames reflected in Emmett's eyes, and its warmth replaced the cold air Emmett felt earlier. Even so, Emmett didn't flee or cry out for help. He merely stood like a statue, as if he had blended into a part of the park. … The trees in the park burned to the ground after that night. The only good news was there were no casualties. In preparing for the confession, Emmett paid everyone to leave the park so he could keep it a surprise for Isla. That was why he was alone during the incident.

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

One of the spectators leaned over to Andrews and whispered nervously, "Is he trying to roast us alive?" Danial, satisfied with the effect, toned down the intensity of the fire. He stepped out from the flaming dome, the fire following him as though it were a living entity, wrapping around his body like a protective cloak. He began to walk forward, the fire trailing behind him in a serpentine wave, casting a flickering light across the room.

The Alpha's Soft Spot

The Alpha's Soft Spot

“Boom” Another explosion. The fire sizzled, devouring the last bit of my pack. I listened as pierced screams filled my ear. The fire mercilessly swept across the land, like an orange dragon, breathing balls of fire, engulfing any signs of life. I watched as black smoke floated in the air, choking me slowly.

SPARKING THE FIRE

SPARKING THE FIRE

Cristine occasionally frowned at the smoke from the burning cigarette but Justin didn't seem to care. "You're like a steam train in the days before people knew the benefits of electricity well," Cristine quipped as she took a tissue. She covered her nose so she wouldn't smoke too much. She also ordered Naya to open the door to the room as wide as possible to allow for a quick exchange of air circulation. "At least I'll be able to unwind from the antics of your future daughter-in-law. Isn't that right, Mrs. Cristine Desmond?" Justin said with a small grin.

Fire's Determination

he hissed, bending his head closer. "Wrong move," I growled, shooting my hand up to grasp his wrist, channeling intense heat into his bones. "Now!" I yelled at my dad as I dropped the walls, forcing the last of my fire's reserves into the man's bloodstream. I let my own power surge into him at the same time, stealing what remained of his life while the fire literally cooked him from the inside.

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

tears blurred his eyes as he trotted down the path, why is it that nobody takes his words seriously? The smell of smoke made Ginika froze. He wiped his eyes and lifted his head. That was when he saw the houses that were on fire. “In the name of the Three Kingdoms!” Zahra and Dodo exclaimed when they caught up with him. The fire blazing the night chorused as they consumed the thatched roof and seemed to melt the wall made of clay. It was a Harmattan fire. Nothing could stand on its way. The bamboo trees used to roof the fifteen hut that was burning, hissed, and sang in harmony with the smoke as their helpless body waxed to nothing.

Raven the lurker
I have gotten used to read female lead stories from her so this time when it is male lead it's quite a refreshing and interesting change up. The start is promising and very well written and it's not the typical type of a novel so give it a chance as this author never ceases from surprising you.

I've been following Dentot for a while now, and I must say, she never ceases to get me hooked on her stories! The change of perspective to a male lead is quite refreshing.. I'm expecting more action packed scenes and of course a bit of sexy stuff - maybe a lot of it would be good!
