I closed my eyes expecting to land on the ground but I felt another large arm around my waist. My eyes snapped open and met with ocean blue eyes which I got lost in for a moment before I got myself together and pushed the stranger away.

My head turned left and right, tracing the surroundings with my eyes. Tree! I was on a big rock surrounded by lots of trees. What's this? Where is this? The man smiled happily at me. I furrowed my brow, not understanding anything. Then, while I was still confused about the situation, the man hugged me tightly. I am in his arms for a few moments. A stranger man is hugging me. However, the strangest thing is that my body just surrendered to that embrace. I should have fought him. But I did not.

He could hear hands working desperately at the lock and that made him brim with anticipation. Finally, he thought, till the door opened for him to see a tall macho man with overgrown beards and tattoos scattered all over his body. The shock from seeing the stranger made him almost unable to speak. He had heavy rock music pounding in his apartment. “Can I help you mate?” his deep voice could make anybody’s knees buckle with frightful intimidation. “Sorry…I came to the wrong door,” Kylian broke out in an uncoordinated stutter, “I was looking for some girl named Maya, she lives on this floor…I don’t know if you might know her, somehow.”

My body crashes into the stranger’s chest, and a shudder of revulsion wracks through me. His touch is wrong—disgusting—sending a sickening wave of nausea rolling through me. Panic claws its way up my throat as I twist in his hold, struggling, pushing, but his grip only tightens, forcing me to move with the rhythm of the music.
