Aaron said and asked. “Really? You’ll be healed in an hour? That is so cool. I’m a Demi-God, my dad is a God, and my mom is human. The chick that made you shift is my older sister Aria. Not as long as the spirit of my family wills me the power to keep pushing. There, by the well, stood a potter’s shop, its doorway open, the air thick with the scent of fresh earth. The potter, an old man with hands browned and cracked, gave us a vessel deep and strong. We set the Marrow within, packing the soil close, and Aaron carried it himself, walking beside the carriage so it would not jostle. The wild marrow to us was more precious than gold. Aaron became less tense since we left Gold Moon and even made small talk on the way.

Cold air poured out, smelling of metal and old blood. Aria stepped inside. Kael followed. Ash came last, face grim. The Foundry was massive. Forges long dead. Tools frozen in place. And in the center, a pedestal. On it, a shard.

Turning around I saw Daro and Andrew also changed clothes which were made in fae Kingdom that I could tell from a glance. “ This will protect you,” Aaron said handing a jade small sword-like knife to daro and Andrew. “ I don't need anything, I have my breasts with me,” Andrew said, wearing his off-white jacket. Aaron only chuckle, listening to his words before he shoved the weapon into his hands. “ We will not be able to shift as soon as we enter into the forest,” I said, looking at my knife. “ What?” He asked in disbelief. “ Why do you think no one ever survived there?” Aaron asked with a smirk. When he was convinced he tucked the sword behind him.

“Right, well, thanks for story time Toby, and your plans regarding the hot shower sounds amazing. We were all going to go together to the MegaStore, so maybe your new buddies would like to wait for the rest of the party to arrive?” “About that,” Aaron walked in. He was sweating and wore several hemp tote bags over his head and shoulders as well as a backpack on his back, distorting his shape. Toby and Aislen automatically stepped forward to help him untangle himself and deposit the bags onto one of the empty benches.

I didn’t trust Aaron. I never would. But deep down, I knew he was right.

Flower arrangements cascaded from the table to the ground. The crowd for the service was overwhelming to say the least. The sounds of sniffles and cries filled the outside area.
