Contracted to the Mafia: A Plus-Size Bride

Contracted to the Mafia: A Plus-Size Bride

Some of the younger ones just stood nearby, staring with wonder. I saw a little girl, maybe seven years old, hugging a doll that had just been taken out of a box. Her eyes sparkled, her lips smiled. She stroked the doll's hair gently, like she was taking care of her own little sister. "I used to have a doll like that too," I said. Alexandro looked at me. "Used to?" "Before my parents died. A brown teddy bear. I took it everywhere with me. But after I moved to my uncle's house, that doll disappeared."

In Love With An Alpha

"That's the point Gray, I didn't make this. And this isn't just any type of doll. This is a magically spelled doll capable of eavesdropping wherever it is placed. I found this deeply rooted in a tile in my bedroom. Any ideas how it got there?" "Wait, wait, wait hold on. You're saying this thing can hear us speak and whoever spelled it can be listening to us now? Then why the hell is it still listening to us?" "Gray, I'm weak but not dumb. I've already undone the spell." He gave me a quizzical look. "Right, so then who placed it?" I slapped my forehead with the doll. "Fool! Isn't that what I'm asking you?" "Damn, Hayley your room has not been inhabited in what now, ten years? I don't know who

Bound To The Mafia Don

Bound To The Mafia Don

There was no broken window, no damaged lock, and nothing looked disturbed except for the baby’s cribs… and something else. Under one of the cribs was a rag doll. It was small, maybe around the size of my hand. The cloth was worn and the stitches were uneven. The fabric was faded, and stained in some places, and its button eyes looked too big for its face. It had a crooked mouth that had been sewn with red thread, like a kid’s art project gone wrong. I picked it up. It was heavier than I expected. It felt like there was something shifting inside so I turned it over. Then I saw the note.

Bride of the Blood Moon

Bride of the Blood Moon

Still, there is no one left here to fear me. A burned-out cottage draws my eye. The front wall is gone, exposing the intimate skeleton of what was once a home: blackened beams, half-melted crockery, the ghost of a staircase leading nowhere. Inside, I find the first evidence of children—a circle of stones marking a game, and beside it, something unrecognizable at first. I kneel. It’s a doll, or what’s left of one. Rag limbs reduced to two ashen sticks, its dress a black shroud crisped tight to the body. The painted face has run in long, dark tears down the porcelain.

The Rest Is Light

" I tried to grab it, but he shoved me back hard, and I tumbled to the floor once more. "No excuses!" Nash's fury was boiling over as he jabbed a finger at the doll. "Ever since your sister came out of your room, she's been covered in rashes and can barely breathe. The doctor says it's an acrylic allergy. What else could it be, if not this junky toy?" He lifted his arm. "Please, no!" Crash! The porcelain doll lay in pieces before me. "Mom… Mom!" I crouched and shakily tried to gather the broken fragments. Alas, no matter how gently I tried, the doll was beyond repair.

Return of the Abandoned

Return of the Abandoned

With my nudges and the stories spread among the neighbors, everyone knew Sophie had given birth and run away, never returning for the holidays or anything. Everyone assumed she’d disappeared off the face of the earth, but only I knew that my parents kept in touch with her secretly. Hearing my comment now, Mom’s face twisted with displeasure. Her sharp voice cut across the entire hall. "What nonsense are you talking about? Sophie is perfectly fine!" Instantly, everyone nearby turned to look. Mom’s embarrassment was obvious. I smiled lightly. "So you’re still in touch with her. Why doesn’t she come see her son, Caleb? Sigh. She abandoned her own child. She must not be doing well. Forget it. I

His Doll

His Doll

Yesterday's lesson wasn't enough! I said joining my hands," Please, Abhinav. Don't use these on me. I will die. Please. I promise you. I will never try to involve in your matter. I promise you". My sobbing is now echoing throughout the whole room. I looked into his eyes and saw satisfaction in his eyes. He hugged me tightly and said stroking my hair," Shh! Shh!! Don't cry. I knew that my doll will learn her lesson quickly. I knew that. I will not use them on you".

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

The Abandoned Wife

The Abandoned Wife

Some of the others went up the stairs. Window panes were smashed, and glass furniture was thrown to the floor and made a lot of noise. Important documents in Johan's study were scattered everywhere. Andrew stepped into the living room and saw a large painting on the wall. He smiled sarcastically sprayed red paint over the painting and wrote a threatening message. "This is just the beginning Johan. You will feel worse after this because you have hurt Miss Caroline." Eventually, the commotion woke Johan and his mother up and they were surprised to see a lot of people coming to make a mess in their house. Andrew immediately put on a skull mask when he saw Johan to avoid being spotted by them.

Abandoned

I refuse to die here and abandon her hope, her fight! "Okay, Mam. I'm sorry. Let's do it! If the dochtúirí get me healthy, I can come back to you. I can save you. We can run away together," I whisper past my blood-covered lips, and her smile stretches across her face like a wide river.
