Abdullah walked gently to their cots, placing his lips on their forehead, kissing them passionately, one after the other. It was a miracle. A rare miracle and their birth made him feel like a hero at the end of a movie... He was successful. Abdullah smiled again and again, wiping away his tears with the back of his hand. Of course, he had saved life a million times but this felt different. Just then, his teary eyes caught me. He walked and sat on a chair behind my bed, facing me.

Ada asked, shaking “You witch, do you want to get me blind?” The man shouted angrily. Ada stood there thinking about how crazy the man sounded. How could he still be so arrogant after he tried forcing himself on her? But he does seem familiar. With a closer look, Ada gasped and said “Abdul?” She was shocked to realise who it was. “What the hell are you doing in my room?” she said very angrily. “Shut up,” Abdul commanded, “You thought you were better than me when I was talking to you earlier. Do you even know who I am? I can make your life very hard in this country?''

He is a citizen of Nigeria. He is a graduate of Biological Sciences and he is based in Kano. His writing genres are Mysteries and Thrillers. He was shortlisted for the Yasmin EL Rufai Foundation (YELF) writing workshop 2019 facilitated by Pwangulongii Daoud, and Kaduna Books and Arts Festival (KABAFEST) writing workshop 2019 facilitated by Zukiswa Wanner. He was also among the last 20 of the Quramo Writer’s Prize (QWP) 2019.
