The journal felt heavy and cold in her hands; she was losing the wall, and the void was creeping in. “Liora, now!” Ash shouted, rushing forward with his knife raised. The Watcher didn’t even turn. It raised its cloaked arm, and a blast of dark energy slammed into Ash’s chest. He flew back like a giant had hit him, landing hard and still. “Ash!” Liora screamed. Kael came at the Watcher from the other side, his dagger aimed at its back, but the blade passed through, like smoke. Kael stumbled, off balance, and the Watcher’s arm swung back, hitting him across the face, spinning him to the ground.

His pitch-black eyes slowly cleared, the amber returning to his pupils like molten gold as he stared down into the churning, black vortex opening directly beneath the wreckage. "They aren't retreating, Lyra," Killian rasped, his voice dropping into a chest-vibrating growl that rattled the iron mast against my spine. He pressed his rigid, aching length hard against my hip—a raw, possessive promise of what he would do to me the moment the battlefield was clear. "The death of their commander didn't break their line. It triggered the final ward. They’ve awakened the Abyssal Patriarch." They looked at the golden light of Elara, who was starting to fade, her edges blurring into the violet lasers. "She's giving up," Jax whispered. "The 'Soul' can't survive without the 'Will.' She thinks we’re already gone." The Abyssal Match The silence of the abyss was broken by a rhythmic, mechanical clanking. From the dark corridors, the System-Sweepers emerged. They were massive, geometric spiders made of "Negative-Space," their eyes glowing with a cold violet. "They're starting the 'Cache-Clear'," Zane said, his grey wireframe claws extending. "Rhys! Bridge the cage! We need a Symmetry-Match!"

“Mr. Clarke, let's hide. They must be hunters.” They hid behind a stone before Panther explained to Philip that these hunters were here to hunt the creatures of the abyss. It was rumored that these creatures had a special substance that could enhance human strength. Hunting and killing a high-level abyssal creature would likely increase a person’s strength by one level. A hunting team here meant that all of them must be at a certain level. Hearing Panther's explanation, Philip was even more surprised. If that were the case, it would be easy to catch an abyss golden beetle per Young Master Cosby’s request if Philip and Panther joined a hunting team.

Well, unless you count a mate from hell whose only goal seems to be destroying you. Yeah, add that to the list too.

Charge with all of your Agility Stat towards your foe, crushing them with your body and all the weight and mass you've accumulated, trapping them beneath your body and inflicting constant damage based on Strength. Indeed, Abyss was incredibly strong! Although she only had two attacking skills, both were simple yet effective, and her songs could be used as a way to weaken enemies too. She lacked long-ranged damage, but Chaos assumed that she could fling her own slime at her enemies at fast speeds, perhaps.
