Luna's vengeance: Tears of Luna

Luna's vengeance: Tears of Luna

Alpha Ares stood in the heart of the magical dungeon, his imposing figure shrouded by a cloak that seemed to be woven from the fabric of darkness itself. The cloak, black as a moonless night, billowed around him, its edges seemingly dancing in an otherworldly breeze. It exuded an aura of dread and malevolence, as if it were a living entity feeding on the fears of those who dared to gaze upon it.

Claws of the Night

Claws of the Night

"You know, Ms. Spitz, I wonder what you know about soldiers or the war which is going on outside of our current borders." I swallowed. "I know that in school that I was taught the snipers and the soldiers on the front lines are usually alphas." "Right you are. Solely alphas. This gives us a single species in which we are seeking to find some way to augment the aggression. My current objective is to find the DNA difference between the three that exist in a heirarchy in our society: alpha, beta, and the elusive omega. We want to use the hypothesis of finding this biological adaptation which differentiated the alpha men from the best of the betas in terms of their physique and their mating

My True Mate

My True Mate

Ariel goes white as a sheet, “I didn’t - I had nothing to do with -“ I’m about to dig my claws into her skin when I hear someone approaching. A few someones. I look sharply to my right towards the tree line and my body nearly goes slack in shock when I see large wolves walk out, making their way towards us. It’s not the wolves that take me aback. It is the cooler of their fur. Silver fur. The trademark color of the Clear Mountain Clan.

It was Amora. “Creed? I’m coming in.” With in a few seconds, she had run down the cave with a covered head of her cloak. Amora was covered in Yellowcress Root, keeping her smell hidden. “There you are!” She said exasperated. Amora leaned on the cave wall, holding her chest.

I love Veronica’s all books but Creed is so, so special! I also love that there is no unnecessary cheating, tragedy, horror but is exciting, detailed, vibrant and show a lot of kindness and love between the characters. The villains always got what they deserve and the love always win!

Ashes of the Sky

Ashes of the Sky

Aetherion Academy towers above me. It's carved into the cliffs like it belongs there—stone and iron and something older woven through it. Massive archways stretch toward the sky, banners snapping in the wind, dark against the gray-blue backdrop. Flickering golden lights spill out of the windows and all around. Like you can literally see the magic alive here. It's beautiful.

The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

Emberfall Woods was a timeless, sunlit sanctuary in the heart of spring, the air warm and fragrant carrying the rich, earthy scent of blooming wildflowers, pine, and the faint, musky undertone of ancient magic lingering in the soil, the breeze soft and teasing, rustling through the towering pines and ancient oaks, their leaves a vibrant green, the sunlight filtering through the canopy in golden beams, casting a dappled glow across the forest floor, the ground a soft carpet of moss, pine needles, and scattered petals from wildflowers—pink clover, white daisies, and purple lupines—their colors vivid against the earthy tones, the air humming with the buzz of bees, the melodic chirping of birds,

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

the sorceress said and reached out to pluck a purple flower from the third level of the shelves. "Oh...nice," was all Cassandra could say. "Are you alright?" Vasilisa asked, coming closer to her. Cassandra jumped and looked anywhere else but the princess. "Yes, I'm perfect. I'm great. Let's keep looking." Together, they found deadly nightshade, stinking smut, and bladderwort. They were all written in scientific names. Under bladderwort, it wrote 'Utricularia caerulea' and under deadly nightshade was 'Atropa Belladona'. Cassandra would never know what they were if she were to look for them alone.

Family's Regret After She Kneels

Family's Regret After She Kneels

Aurora’s POV The mountain air bit at my lungs, sharp and cold. The sky above was bruised with clouds, and the wind carried the faint scent of rain and iron. I tightened the strap of the satchel across my shoulder and glanced down at the parchment in my hand, an herbal sketch drawn by Witch Elara herself. The last ingredient we needed to purge the poison from Gray’s blood: Moonshade Aster, a plant said to bloom only under silver light, deep within the cliffs of the North Range.

The Black Cliff

The Black Cliff

the maid grumbled. Her voice was soothing, and the girl quickly gathered her thoughts. For an hour they walked on the heath, admiring the tiny lilac and crimson flowers, collected medicinal berries and made a couple of wreaths, which Agnes intended to take to the Black Cliff and hang on the doors (the aroma of herbs disposed to a quiet sleep). Nocté pulled off her cape, straightened her hair and closed her eyes, feeling the sun's rays illuminating her face, warming her skin. She turned to the maid sitting over the berry bush and waved her good hand. The left one rose weakly and immediately fell.

Beyond Redemption

Beyond Redemption

“Then we’ll just have to be faster.” By dawn, we were already on the move again. The mountain range stretched endlessly before us, every ridge sharper than the last, each step echoing with exhaustion. The path narrowed as we descended into the valley below, where the air grew warmer and thick with mist. Strange black flowers bloomed along the cliffsides—flowers that glowed faintly blue when touched by the sun. Aaron stopped to pluck one. “Well, at least the apocalypse has nice landscaping.” Sylra smacked his hand. “Those are soul blooms. They grow on the graves of forgotten spirits.”
