Chapter one Mae's pov “Finally.” The word slipped from my lips as I stood at the entrance of Blackthorn Elite Prep Academy, one of the biggest and most influential schools in Michigan. My fingers tightened around the scholarship letter and the transfer documents from my old school. A smile tugged at my lips. This was a dream come true. I was still admiring the massive campus when I heard someone call my name from behind. “Miss Mae Lawson, right?” I turned quickly and found myself staring at an elderly woman dressed in a neat cream suit, a pair of glasses resting low on her nose. I nodded immediately, clutching the letter tightly as though my life depended on it.

MELISSA'S POV I climbed down the stairs yawning from tiredness. I didn't go to bed on time last night because I couldn't stop watching the late night fashion show displaying. I loved the way they all dressed and spoke eloquently. I really want to be like that, go to school and be able to speak that way. I would talk to Asher about it, maybe he would get me a teacher so I could able to read and write. The little knowledge I have, I learnt from princess Melissa's books which helped me to understand most of human language.

They were rarely mixed with the rest of us, so a royal prince from another country must be quite exciting for them. The maid who Neema had been yelling at was called Tamara and she was a bit dim-witted. She had attempted to balance two trays of food at the same time and go up the stairs to serve the new prince. Now, anyone with even half a brain could tell that it would end in disaster. But Tamara was built differently and proceeded to leave the kitchen like that. And maybe, just maybe she might have succeeded in her task. But unfortunately for her, Neema saw her trying to balance the two trays and sent her back to the kitchen in anger.

Harrison said, his voice filled with confidence. Ava's eyes widened in disbelief and admiration. She recognized Addison Monroe as a legendary figure in the modeling industry, a true icon of grace and elegance. "It's an honor to meet you, Addison," Ava exclaimed, her voice tinged with fangirl excitement. "I've admired your work for years. You're an inspiration to me."

Before Bri could finish, Addison went on her toes because Bri is taller than her, and she slammed her lips on his own in a slow kiss. "I actually thought my feelings were weird, and I thought you would hate me if I ever told you. That was why I kept it all to myself. The truth is, I love you more than just a friend...I'm madly in love with you...." As Addison ran her fingers through Bri's short hair, Bri responded in a manner that was noticeably more rapid.

She pulled out the pen strapped to the side and signed it so fast like she was ripping off a bandage “There,” she said, lifting her chin, trying to look bold. But her eyes flicked to mine, trembling. “Good.” Ausley took the file and left us alone. I waited, my eyes fixed on the steady rise and fall of her chest, until the door finally clicked shut. It was just us now. “Now tell me about yourself.” She straightened. “I’m Maddison Summers. Art student at Monalisa Art School. I have some published works and I hope to open my own studio once I—”

"I know, but Damon…" My mother had suddenly appeared at the door, attracted by the brewing noise; her eyes had grown wide as she spotted Damon and Cassandra half-naked. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! Your ‘precious’ daughter tried to sneak in and attack Damon! She's trying to get obsessed with him! She doesn't want to accept that the Alpha already chose me. Your daughter keeps doing crazy things even when I'm the true Luna. I have been waiting for this poor thing of yours to leave him for me!"

The woman scolded her. Moira laughed. "I'm home alright, Mama." The woman seems like realized my presence. "Oh, you come with someone?" Moira seems to be nervous. I stand to greet her. "Good afternoon, Ma'am." "Good afternoon, Young Man. Care to introduce him to me, Moira?" she teased her daughter. "Um ... Ma, this is Drake. He want me to introduce him as my future husband," she mumbled with a red face, I can't hold myself from laughing.

Jackie muttered under her breath as she watched her best friend leave. Cassie arrived at her school's prom, looking beautiful and breathtaking. Anyone who saw her will think she was a princess but that still didn't stop the whispers and the gossip. "Hi Cassie." "Hey?" Cassie replied, lost in Adam's breathtaking smile. This guy is every girls dream and she was lucky to be with him. "Care for a drink?" Adam asked as he stopped one of the waiters before she could even reply. "Here." "Thanks but..."

As soon as he saw me, he smiled. "Amanda, sweetheart, how are you? Sebastian and I were speaking of you." I returned the hug and kiss. "Is that so? I am doing great Mr. Mikaelson. How are you doing? " "Better than ever. Happy birthday. I didn't think you would work today." "The company doesn't work by itself, does it?" I laughed. "True." "Please sit down. I have good news. Your new product has not only sold here in England. It's being demanded in our trial countries."
