The doctor held his hand and asked. "Help me look for…Avery Tate. She is my doctor. I want to see her." Since Adrian was rather weak, talking made him sweat. "Who are you looking for?" The doctor put his head closer toward Avery. "A-Avery Tate! I'm looking for Avery Tate!" Adrian coughed violently. "Avery Tate! I know her! You know her too?" The doctor placed his hand on the bed. "I'll help you contact her, but I'm not sure if I will be able to get to her. Rest well."

Zachariah says, striding over to us, hand in hand with his mate. "Indeed, but it can wait until everyone is rested. I, for one, need a shower and something to eat, I'm ravenous, not all of us got to sleep half the battle away." Calista adds, winking at Cain who snorts out a laugh. When I finally reached him, I slid into the seat across from him and he asked, "Who the fuck are you?" I gave him a tight smile. "A friend or an enemy, depending on how this conversation goes," I said. "We've spoken briefly through email, my name is Adrian Chase." He narrowed his eyes, studying me carefully. Finally, with a trace of fear in his voice, he asked, "How did you find me?"

Lewis shut the door behind her. As they drove off, her body finally gave in. The seat cradled her aching form and her eyelids fluttered closed, falling forward until Chase reached out, gently guiding her head to rest on his shoulder. “Lewis,” Chase said quietly. “The information. The man from the video.” Without turning, Lewis handed back a tablet. Chase unlocked it, eyes scanning the image. Dr. Adrian. He stared at the screen, jaw tightening. “Adrian,” he muttered under his breath.
