The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

“You know what’s funny?” “What?” “I used to think healing would feel dramatic.” She glanced around the apartment softly. “But actually…” A faint laugh escaped her. “…it feels like choosing curtain colors and arguing over bookshelf placement.” God. Adrian laughed quietly. “Which, for the record, you are losing.” “Absolutely not.” “I refuse to let you organize books by emotional vibe.” “It’s called aesthetic intelligence.” “It’s called chaos.” She shoved him lightly while laughing. And God. That sound. That lightness.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Scars is Also Beautiful

Scars is Also Beautiful

One by one she plucked out to read from the back and surely, the front cover plays a huge role in her buying. She would blush at the provocative and alluring drawings of man and woman wrapping round each other. Other then getting addicted to books with sultry scene or stories, she was attracted by the depth of the stories itself that calls out to her. The passion between the two characers and their ability to withstand any obstacles around them as well as promising and loving each other with only the language of love that only they can understand. Ariadne adores such books. It didn't take long for her to roll back to her old habit of reading the book at the corner fo the wall, hidden from ju

Hunting Her Hunters

Hunting Her Hunters

“You sure they can’t take it from me?” He nodded. “Absolutely.” We drove the rest of the way to a small house in the middle of town. He led me inside and my mouth dropped open as we moved through it. Every wall in every room was filled to the brim with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. On 95% of them, there were hundreds of books. On the rest of them were beautiful glass, crystal and porcelain figurines of almost every single type of bear and wolf. Every room had a light system that would make reading at any time of the day easy. Every single window was ornately designed with stained glass scenes that took my breath away.

Rebel Rising The Lost Alpha's Mate

Rebel Rising The Lost Alpha's Mate

The largest bookshelf I have ever seen occupies the west wall with sprawling dark stained walnut and hand-carved little wolves at the top of either side. There is a large bay window in the center that overlooks a small, rocky pond. The urge to run to the nook and crawl in it with a blanket and just stare at nature for days is overwhelming. But I know better than to assume relaxation is on the list of things for me to do. I run my eyes along the south wall, noting the forest green walls and the stunning water paintings that make the whole thing grand. Opulent splashes of purples and dark blues create the night sky with speckles of gold mimicking the stars. Beautiful in its messiness.

Second book of yours I'm reading, I've also read the Mate Gamble. This is right on par with that and I plan on keeping it for a reread. Was seeing that there was going to be a sequel is that still in the works? And we definitely need a book for Tank. Can't wait for that one! .........

Yam sliced it open slowly, hands trembling. Inside was their book. “The Art of Staying.” Cover: a sunflower. A crooked shelf. Two mugs—one chipped. And behind it all, the suggestion of a fan, mid-spin. Franc stared at it like it might whisper back. “Feels unreal,” Yam said. Franc flipped through pages. Some with artwork. Others with Yam’s poetry. Their story—wired beginnings and all—now bound in matte finish. “I think this book breathes,” Franc said.

She was left with no choice and left alongside Nicholas who said that he will send her to the library before he leaves. Zinnia already knew that saying no will only annoy the overly doting man and so she didn’t react to it anymore. She can only allow the man to pamper her to his heart's content. As they walked past the tall gigantic walls, Zinnia went silent as she felt the extreme familiarity from the artworks hanging on the wall. Some of the framed artworks had names on them while the others didn't. Most of them were sketches of forests, wolves, the moon, and some kind of artwork about a goddess that somehow causes her mind to go blank from time to time.

A beautiful smile which was enough for Alaina's heart to flutter. " Where are you taking me?" Alaina said as he grabbed her hand in his cold one." You said you wanted to work in a publishing company. So you love books too. " Aaron said as he dragged her inside their room. A gasp escaped her mouth as she saw a beautiful study table beside the window wall with a large bookshelf suffused with fiction and fantasy books. She smiled seeing it as books were her love. She loved to write and read. She turned around to find Aaron leaning against the giant door , smiling at her.

'It better pay us off,' Aesthelia said in her mind, with determination, as she pushed the entrance door open in a very careful manner. The creaking sound echoed, which made her nervous, but once they were inside, They are greeted by a million books. The bookshelves were so huge they reached the ceiling. Aesthelia's jaw dropped just by staring at it. As a writer slash reader, it feels like she's on cloud nine. It's her dream that came true. "Why are you drooling for?" Gior inquired, perplexed. Aesthelia stared at Gior in disbelief, but before Aesthelia could even talk back, a voice asked.

When Mates Collide

When Mates Collide

It had felt real. Welcome rays of daylight and reality peeked through dark blue sheaths as his bedroom curtains came into focus. He scanned the familiar clutter that lay on the black dresser and armoire by the door, as well as on the nightstand to his right. His eyes fell on the stack of books lying there. To root himself he read the titles: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Running With Scissors, and Corrections. Underneath them lay Books Do Furnish a Room, photographs of home libraries he loved to look at to inspire his design creativity. He was an architect after all, even if he was a werewolf.
