Aesthetic Winter Wallpapers Novels & Stories

But as time passed by, researchers were able to discover a material powerful enough to weaken them and even prevent them from approaching. Months after their first appearance, humanity has some hope again that they'll be able to overcome the problem the world is facing. After the discovery, countries around the world started placing walls fortified with Haliminium, the element that weakens and prevents Wamilas from ever approaching, around a limited number of cities. With how limited the resource of Haliminium was, and how most of the countries were destroyed, they were only able to procure only a small amount of Haliminium. Humanity were able to seek protection behind the walls that surroun

My eyes scan what once I prayed would be home to raise our family. Dark wood paneling and damask wallpaper cover every square inch of the wall space, but are barely noticeable compared to the art gallery of various framed oil portraits. As if this view isn’t gawdy enough, tapestries and ornately adorned gold leaf mirrors erase any risk of negative space. To the right of the front door lies a curved staircase, wrapped in floral garland and crimson silk ribbon. Crystal chandeliers hang overhead, highlighting plush Persian rugs placed on cold marble floors. The aesthetic is clearly Victorian and meant to make the house seem royal.

The windows — three of them, in the three directions — were double-glazed and heavy-framed, and the radiators beneath them were hot to the touch. The walls were painted a warm white — not the cool white of modern minimalism but a white that contained some yellow, some cream, some awareness of the fact that in the absence of sunlight, the walls themselves needed to contribute to the feeling of warmth. The floor was wood — pine, Ernest thought, or perhaps fir — with a thick wool rug in the center, a rug in the traditional Norwegian pattern of concentric diamonds, the colors deep blue and red and the natural cream of undyed wool. "Hygge," Ernest said. The Danish word, the concept he had read ab

“It just took so long, and you kept getting more and more stressed, so it seemed smarter and smarter to just make the aesthetic decisions and let you change them if you wanted.” He unlocked the door and pushed it open. The foyer of the Mansion spread out in front of me. The beautiful wood floor remained, and so did the sweeping staircases, but everything else had been changed. The dour walls became pastels much like the ones Sera and I had agonized over for the shelter. The rugs had been replaced with soft geometric patterns that matched the walls. In the middle of the foyer sat a circular desk with a chair in the center, already set up with three different monitors. I drifted inside and ran

Was he ready for the house to stop looking like it had come out of one of his happier memories of the past? “On the contrary one finds that styles come back into fashion if you wait long enough,” he said wryly. “But I get your point, I am happy for there to be some changes. Nothing too major yet.” Henry smiled widely at him. “That’s wonderful to hear. My first target is that wallpaper in the wallpaper in the living room- I hate it with a passion. It’s been peeling recently and I have to keep sticking it back so you don’t notice.” Flynn considered the wallpaper. It was an autumnal print of leaves clustered together in shades of red, orange and brown. To him, it was just the wallpaper that was

The table was set with fine china, crystal glassware, and shimmering silverware, all perfectly arranged to create an atmosphere of luxury and refinement. The walls of the dining room were covered in stunning wallpaper, featuring a delicate floral pattern in shades of cream and gold. The windows were draped in heavy, velvety curtains that pooled onto the floor, adding to the room's opulence. The ceiling was adorned with a beautiful fresco, depicting cherubs and other mythical creatures in soft, pastel hues.

He took her hand and led her into the bathroom, which to her was a wonder of its own. The beauty of the interior dazzled her. The floor was tiled with a warm caramel color that matched the wall, which was tiled to the ceiling. The ceiling, which was in a color combination of caramel and white, was of a decorative stretch ceiling film, lined with recessed lights. A three dimensional wallpaper displaying a realistic looking waterfall, dominated the entire length of a side of the wall. A large mirror rested on another part of the wall with a large sink attached to a fancy cabinet, sitting beneath it.

- • Alyssa's POV As I entered the room, I was immediately struck by the beautiful sight before me. The paintings on the wall seemed to blink at me, as if greeting me. The room was painted white with stunning murals hand-painted on the burnt orange and red walls. The furniture was rustic and dark, complemented by vibrant cushions. I had never seen a room with so much furniture and so many hues. The white velvet curtains hid the long windows across the room, leaving only a shy peek. The floor was polished wood, dark and free of clutter. The room looked amazing; it was designed not just to be a room, but to feel like home. I could stay here forever.

he says as usual. I dare to go up to the second floor again, this time I turn the handle of the door that is further away from the other two. I push lightly finding a dream room. It is magnificent. The centered bed was elegantly dressed with white satin sheets. On the wall behind the headboard hangs a huge painting, the art that is captured in it leaves me a little confused. Half is white and the other black. I don't see the point. I continue the study looking at the magnificent wall of windows that go from top to bottom. The view dominated by the white of falling snow is a perfect winter panorama.

“It does. But not for upcoming weeks.” “Am I going to do it alone? Aren't you going to help me?” With those sparkling puppy eyes, I couldn't resist her. Later, Theo, Teresa and Harry joined us. After we had completed changing the wallpapers, the store started to feel fresh and inviting, ready to welcome in the new year. Feeling accomplished, we gathered around to admire our handiwork, appreciating how the new wallpapers transformed the space. It was a satisfying feeling to see the store looking so different from its festive Christmas decoration days.
