It hurt like a fucking bitch. Alpha Eros never said a word, and I had a feeling that he needed this hug as much as I did. They rose from their seats, seven deities of unimaginable power, and took to the skies. Above the ruins, the Aetherstar moved like a god of chaos. It had no face, no mercy only a core of pulsing light that beat like a heart made of thunder. Wings of fragmented crystal spread behind it, and each beat released storms that tore continents apart. Its body shimmered between form and formlessness, constantly shifting, half light, half void. The Thrones unleashed their full might. Spears of divine energy pierced the clouds, lightning and holy fire raining upon the creature. It roared, the sound splitting mountains and bending the rivers from their courses.

The sky above the Nightfang Valley was no longer a natural thing. It was a bruised canvas of violet soot and golden residue, a graveyard of the Syndicate’s failed chemical cloak. But from within that haze came the rhythmic, heavy thrum-thrum-thrum of a heartbeat that didn't belong to a wolf. The Aether-Dreadnoughts had arrived. Four massive, iron-clad airships, held aloft by superheated Aetheric gas and propelled by massive brass screw-propellers, emerged from the smog. They weren't here to negotiate; they were here to deconstruct the "Signal Fire" piece by piece.

A crack, thousands of miles long, appeared across the Atlantic Ocean, glowing with a terrifying, molten-blue light. "The Aether was the distraction," Elias laughed as he dissolved into light. "The real game... is the Core." Elena looked down at the crumbling world. She had saved the sky, but she had just awakened the Earth.

No wonder the First Fleet the orbit has reached. After endless minutes, the last castle cracked. A deep, mechanical Stöhnen went through the mountain. I stepped back and turned off the burner. Kael stepped forward, anchored his boots the rusty grids of the platform and pushed its massive, armored hands into the glowing gap between the door wings. He glanced at his father shortly before slightly softened his tone, “Now Alpha Felix, you can bring up the issue of The Eclipse that you claimed to be critical to all of us. I believe The Lang family will be interested to hear you out.” Alpha Felix’s chest heaved as he eyed Xavier dismissively. Glancing at Kronos Lang who sat there skeptically, he uttered, “It is an emergence, Alpha Xavier. It’s supposed to be kept within wolves. But since you consider the vampires should also acknowledge it, I will just speak frankly.”

"Lord Vorgath, the little ones are breaking through!" In the padded chest, the three dragon eggs trembled slightly. Soon, cracks spiderwebbed their surfaces as I watched with awe and expectancy. These were Draken's hatchlings… our hatchlings! With a sudden burst of light, three hatchlings burst forth from their shells. Purple-gold rays streaked through the sky, and celestial clouds scattered across the heavens. Birds soared and cried out in unison above the dragonlands. "By the gods… Half-beasts with Aetherblood!"

jason heard in his head, Aether led him to what looked like a map, except it wasn't a map, it looked like dust swirling round in different directions, jason recognized it, "Are those-" "Yes, the whole universes" aether said completing his thoughts, "So near yet so far," aether said to himself, "Do you know why you were sent to earth?" He said gesturing to a blue swirling dust that was at the far north of the map, "Because of the war?" jason replied back in a question, "Partly true, what else did your mother tell you?" He asked, "Mother?, I lived with my aunt, not mother," jason replied puzzled,

Only my name.” He leaned toward my neck, lips brushing the skin lightly, making my breath shatter. “Or,” he whispered, “you can give me a daring name to claim me with.” “There is no difference between a beast and a monster,” I muttered. His grip tightened dangerously. “Do not provoke me.” Taking in a deep breath and at the same time desperate to break the moment, I blurted, “But a beast needs a real name. Like Knight has his. What’s yours?”
