My eyes follow his line of sight and my breath catches in my throat. We had stopped at the edge of a breathtaking clearing, surrounded by more towering trees. In the middle was a crystal clear lake, its surface gleaming with the greenery of the trees above. The surface shimmered as the sunlight struck, creating some magical feeling. Around the lake were some wild purple and pink flowers, scattered around like crystals. For a moment, I couldn't seem to form any words. Just gape at the magical sight before me. " What do you think?" Raiden's nervous voice breaks through my thoughts, his voice now more quiet than it had been before. I blinked, trying to snap out of the trance.

"Don’t think about anything and just enjoy the ride, baby." Anna’s stomach fluttered with butterflies. She blushed and shifted her gaze to the lake beneath them. Surprisingly, the water was not filthy. It had a bright, pleasant blue color that allowed them to see the fish swimming in the water. Ducks and Flamingos were also surrounding the lake. It was quite a sight to behold.

She had hit her head very hard against the window, and then hit in the face by Cody shortly after. “Look out the window Alys, we are getting close now you can start to see the lake through the trees.” Aiden whispered to her. She sat up a little and looked out the window seeing shimmers of dark blue flashing through the trees then suddenly the tree line ended and the vast lake was there with the moons glow shining on its waters creating a sparkling show. “Aiden its beautiful.” Alys said quietly putting her head back against him. He felt a wave of nausea through the bond and knew lifting her head caused her to get dizzy.

She has seen countless sunsets before but nothing prepared her for the scene right in front of her. After lunch, I head to the back garden for a walk, eventually making my way down to the lake. As I near the jetty, I realize Felix has followed and is just behind me. We stand side by side, gazing out over the calm water. The view is stunning, with the wide lake stretching out before us, forested on either side, and the mountain rising majestically in the distance. It was fed into by the mountains above and then a waterfall created the river that flowed through the human town below us. It was calm and peaceful. During the summer, it would be busy with the younger wolves swimming in the lake. Now though, it was just peaceful and serene. A restful place. Turning, I saw Auri, still standing behind me.
