I'm having a mental breakdown as I face a clogged drain with my feverish and fussing daughter in my arms. Meanwhile, my husband has reserved a hotel to celebrate another woman's birthday. My wife went abroad for a six-month training course and unexpectedly secured a major deal.  Thanks to this contract, she was promoted to director against all odds. When I saw the news of her return in the work group chat, I immediately ordered flowers to pick her up at the airport. However, her belly, which would have been eight months pregnant, showed no signs of it. She had aborted our child, turning me into a laughingstock among colleagues. Just as I tried to swallow my anger, she told me she was pregnant with someone else’s child. She demanded that I step aside and make way for her.

Tatlong taon na ang lumipas mula noong ikasal sila pero hindi pa rin makuha ni Czarina ang pagmamahal at atensyon ni Zayden. Palagi nalang ibang babae at trabaho ang pinipili ng lalaki at tiniis niya iyon. "Let's get a divorce..." sabi ni Czarina matapos siyang pagalitan ni Zayden dahil sa isang aksidente na hindi naman siya ang may kasalanan. Puno ng galit at pagkadismaya ang puso ng babae. Namumutla at nanginginig ito pero ni kamustahin siya ay hindi ginawa ni Zayden, bagkus ay inaway pa siya nito. Doon niya naramdaman na wala lang talaga siya sa buhay ng lalaki. Nagulat si Zayden sa narinig ngunit hindi niya iyon sineryoso, sa pag-aakala na isa lang iyon sa mga kaartehan ni Czarina. Ngunit mula ng araw na iyon ay hindi na umuwi ang babae. Nadatnan nalang ni Zayden na wala na ang mga gamit nito at may pirmado ng divorce papers sa mesa. "Fvck..." Binigyan niya ng ilang araw ang babae sa pag-aakala na babalik din ito. Pero sa ilang beses nilang pagkikita ay unti-unti niyang nare-realize na hindi na babalik sa kanya si Czarina. Nagulat na lamang si Czarina ng isang araw na pumunta si Zayden sa kanya na lasing, mugto ang mata, at nagmamakaawa. "Come back home, please..." he begged. "Let me be your husband again."

Berlatar dimasa setelah terjadinya fenomena Holocaust atau yang disebut di dalam cerita ini sebagai Rapture, tragedi yang membuat setengah dari populasi bumi menghilang. Cuba Toeli, merupakan anak SMA keturunan Italia yang populer karena kemampuan beladirinya yang mampu menghajar 6 anak yang ingin mengeroyoknya. Dia bersama dengan teman-temannya berusaha untuk mengungkap apa yang terjadi. Merasa ada kejanggalan dalam fenomena ini, mereka berusaha untuk mencari petunjuk petunjuk mengenai apa/siapa yang dibalik kejadian Rapture ini. -- Cerita ini merupakan remake dari cerita yang pernah saya buat pada tahun 2016 yang berjudul Apocalypse End, dengan konsep cerita yang sama namun dengan improvisasi jalan cerita, semoga akan membuat cerita ini menjadi menarik.
