Rejected

Rejected

Seeing them interact, it seemed to give me new hope that maybe, there was a possibility of reconciliation for us in the future—even if it felt complicated. However, as the clock struck evening, I knew it was time to end this visit. With a heavy heart, I told Leon to go home, “Leon, maybe it’s time for you to go back. I hope this isn’t the last time you see them.” Leon nodded, understanding. “I understand, Ariane. Thank you for letting me be here today,” he said sincerely, reaching for his daughters’ hands. “I want you to know how much I love you, too.”

Alpha Kate

Alpha Kate

Things were still tense between us but as always, I would not shirk my responsibilities because of the friction felt between us. We were meeting on a new alliance. A new one but not a new one – one that had been left on the table shortly after the rejection. That’s all I can refer to it as for the time being – the rejection impacted my life in a ridiculous manner. Life before the rejection held a lot of promise and after the rejection resulted in barriers I had not expected to face.

Also I’m happy about how strong the main female character, Alpha Kate is. She never backs down from any of the pressure to conform to any of the backwards old fashioned ideas for women and sticks to her principles! I can relate to her and the struggles so it’s an encouraging story. Well done author!

Love this book. Poor Kate went through so much during the course of this book. She went from being rejected, having to postpone being made Alpha, to being challenged and attacked multiple times. I'm so happy that she finally got her mate, Colby, who seems to be amazing.

REJECTED MATE

REJECTED MATE

“Stop it, Jordan.” “Come on. You’re unmated. I’m unmated. We’re both lonely. If we’re still without a mate when we’re like forty, we should agree to mating.” “And then have to deal with that kind of rejection as well when your true mate suddenly makes an appearance? No, thanks.” “As well?” Jordan asked. “What other rejection have you had to deal with?” “Huh?” “You just said you’d have to deal with that kind of rejection as well. I’m just curious who else has rejected you? Or what have you been rejected for?”

Rejected by the Beta

Rejected by the Beta

It is only because of my excellent skills as a waitress that I don’t drop the plates in my hands, but instead set them on the table and slowly walk toward the hostess stand in the front of the restaurant. I have to squat down to grab four menus, and I take the opportunity to inhale and exhale a few calm, cleansing breaths I’m hoping will somehow prevent the emotional tornado I can feel building inside me. I don’t know what to say to him. I haven’t even worked through the pain of his rejection yet. I wasn’t supposed to have to see him only twelve hours after it happened! Do I ask him why, or do I feign ignorance and pretend he’s a stranger?

REJECTED MATE

REJECTED MATE

Turns out that it brought a bucketful of hassles. “This is so tedious,” Larissa said. “I don’t know what you’re moaning about,” snapped a middle-aged woman standing in front of us whose bulk suggested she was a bear shifter. “Everyone keeps homing in on you. After you reject them, they drive off in a huff and don’t bother asking if we want a job.”

The Perfect Rejection

The Perfect Rejection

"What?" He sighed again, putting a finger under my chin and looking closer at my neck. He was looking at the scars, I just knew it. I shrunk away from him and shoved his hand away, my eyes wide as my chest tightened. "All the pain and suffering you endured, you didn't deserve any of it. You are extremely special and your mate should have treasured you. His decision to reject you was a reflection of him, not you. I hope you understand that." I was crying before I could even process his words. "He only rejected me because I was an omega. If my parents were still alive, I would have been an alpha," I gritted out, my voice cracking with emotion.

The Rejected Mate

The Rejected Mate

"I'm strong, I'm capable, and I'm loyal. Why doesn't anyone want me?" I knew exactly how he felt. I had been in his shoes not too long ago. But now, looking back, I realized that my rejection had been a turning point for me. It had led me to this pack and to a sense of purpose that I had never had before. "You were rejected for a reason," I said. "And that reason brought you here. You're part of our pack now, and we're all stronger because of it." He looked up at me, his eyes filled with uncertainty. "But what if I'm not good enough?"

My Doctor True Mate

My Doctor True Mate

I groan, turning my head to lay my hand on the door handle. He lays his on mine, the sparks erupting on my skin make me jump, and I pull back my hand instinctively. I look up at Scott with a worried expression and, unfortunately, he feels enticed enough by my concern that he leans closer once again, making my heart flip in my chest. “Don’t think too much into it. It’s normal to still feel them after a rejection. It takes the souls a few weeks to be completely severed off.” “Who told you that?” I whisper, knowing that it is completely made up. I have been a doctor for long enough to know that the bond gets cut as soon as the rejection is accepted.

I just posted a note with a PSA. I had to take a longer break from this book because of health issues, but it isn’t abandoned and updates will continue in January 2026! Thank you for reading and your patience!

Once Rejected, Twice Accepted

Once Rejected, Twice Accepted

he called out. Yet, at that moment, I couldn't bring myself to entertain his apologies, the betrayal of his words still fresh in my mind. So I continued on my path, my heart heavy with disappointment and disillusionment, unsure of how to mend the rift that had formed between us. Later that night, as I sat across from Alex in the dimly lit room, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of disappointment. His actions had left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I knew deep down that our relationship might never be the same again. Yet, amidst the hurt and betrayal, there was a part of me that understood the necessity of moving forward, of pushing aside my grievances for the sake of peace.
