Our bodies collided mid-air, but we pressed on, extending our hands simultaneously. Our fingers touched the cold glass at the same moment. I saw a crack form before the glass exploded like a bomb.The force slammed us back, against the wall with a hard whack. But the glass didn't explode into a thousand pieces of glass. No, it was much worse.

I told her as we laughed together. ~ Hunter I rubbed my back again as I stood over the phone, waiting for the agency to get back to me on the secretary I had called them for. I still wondered what it was that happened last night. One moment, I had been waiting for the red light to turn green when from no where, a rover came and smashed into my car. I had been so disoriented it took a while for me to understand what had happened. By the time I got my myself, the car was no longer behind me. The only evidence I had of being hit was my dented car body and pieces of the vehicle that hit me.

We return to our SUV; Sam gets into the driver’s seat while the two warriors that had been with Jenna and I come as well, and we speed back to the accident sight. To our surprise, the accident site is cleaned up and the SUV is gone along with the warriors and Shane. What the hell just happened? We had not passed an SUV on our way here. Did that mean they went back to the Black Crescent Pack? We got out of the SUV and started searching around. There was no way to simply drive off in a vehicle that had been blown up.

I honestly don't know what I keep expecting from him but if this is what marriage is well I have to take what I'm offered besides I was just collateral damage. ‎
