Lucian and Arabella
What was it that kept him from
remembering?
As he looked closely at the stone, familiarity stirred his soul. He had seen this stone before, he was sure of it. The stone, only as big as the nail on his little finger, was in the shape of a heart. A brilliant red glow emitted from deep within. It pulsed with each beat of his racing heart. As he watched, the glow slowly started to fade, still matching his heart, beat for beat. Lucian wanted to find this woman, somehow she stirred in him feelings that he never had before. Memories, could she exist in that cloud of forgetfulness?
“What the hell is going on?” Lucian asked the room at large, not expecting an answer and not getting one.
