Kael's p.o.v My legs trudged through the mud as I walked my way to Akira's cottage. Though a doctor primarily, she has been gifted with certain powers by the moon goddess, one beyond what an average Northern pack Lycan could possess. Akira has a eyes that could foresee, sometimes into the future. A rare gift that has been evident from a young age of ten since I have made acquaintance of her. I had first seen her at the market square, all unkempt and for once, I had thought she was one of the few insane people roaming round the market area and almost malad.

“For the record, I don’t think you’re a freak. And if you are, it doesn’t bother me.” Akira scrunched her nose. “Still, I don’t want you burdened with the responsibility of taking care of me every time they go overboard. It’s too overwhelming sometimes.” “I can take it,” He answered, and then stopped himself. “But if the gift going away will give you serenity, I’ll support you a hundred percent.” Memories of Akira’s past breakdowns flashed in her head. She went through years and years of experiments to make her sixth sense go away, asked several religious and paranormal experts for help, even practiced spiritual exercises… meditation, prayer, whatever was available.

His lips accidentally grazed hers and her eyes opened wide in shock . There was a surge of electricity within and he became all numb . He wasn't able to get a grip of things happening around him . It happened for a fraction of a second but he felt like he was floating in the clouds . His mind wasn't able to think any further nor his body was responding to him . He literally had to shake his head to get back to reality . When Akira saw Vikram shake his head after the mad encounter, she felt weird . She held his arms which were holding her in a tight grip and freed herself . She looked at him and said -

Did we really need this much people following us? Feeling the sense that I have eyes boring into me, like my body is burning from it. I glance where I see Jaxxon, eyes ready to kill. Why is he staring at me like he wants to hurt me. ‘Hurt you in bed maybe. Like let him flip you around?’ Akira says walking around in my head. ‘Stop it Akira. You have such a dirty mind.’ ‘Well look at that Greek god, he can rampage me savagely’

Akira must have delayed her on purpose ,she must have an evil agenda in which she wants to hatch on me . I simply have no idea what I did to her to deserve such cruel treatment ,I used to love and cherish her like never before ,I never did anything wrong to her but yet she treated me in such a painful manner ,she hurt me times without number ,I regret ever knowing her or even introducing her to Asim in the first place . My hopes are now on Asim to finally heal the heart of the poor maiden in which my stupidity almost ruined ,tears rolled down as I reminisce over what I did to an innocent girl ,I cried helplessly but then something strange happened to me .

But she always complained that she was too willful. Akira held her chin in her soft finger as she thought, “just give him small food, not like the regular ones I always eat. Make sure that you put in so many spicy ingredients, I’d love to see his red face when he tasted the food!” Akira explained her naughty plan to Kariya. Blue, who was listening at the back of the door, couldn’t help but shake her head in embarrassment. Princess! Can you please not think of any evil plans?

Asmodeus remarked in her solemn voice. Akira smiled bitterly, “I know that too...but my body won’t just heal no matter what I do, grandfather. No matter how many times I exposed myself to blood—hoping to cure myself, it only worsened. After passing out, I sometimes fell into a coma for days and weeks. There are even days that I pass out and then only wake up not being myself—creating havoc and breaking things… I sometimes even hurt myself. Those were the after-effects if I ever see blood. How can I even get this in this time?”

Kiara: “The concussion has indeed returned to its first phase of not healing, but you shouldn’t be too worried about it, Kiara as it would heal with time. Only this time you would need to take your medication instead of waiting for it to heal on its own” Dr. Jason said looking me in the eye. He kept his eyes on mine, avoiding Alessio’s as he knew that my husband would mostly be on edge as he heard the news. Hell, even I was frightened as he spoke of them despite his calm demeanor “the reason for the headaches is a blood clot that happened when you hit your head the second time; it would heal with time, but you would need to take it very easy as not to risk it giving you a stroke”

She was definitely faking it. “Are you okay?” Amara asked her in a more serious tone. “Yeah, I am. It’s the sun. It’s giving me a headache.” She replied. Shifters rarely get headaches, but Cassidy didn’t have a wolf yet, just like me, so she was still vulnerable to pain like this. Amara didn’t ask more, and I just kept looking at her, not sure how I could make her talk about it. She was still in the same position when Kairo approached her and placed his cap to cover her head before sitting beside her, handing her a bottle of water. “Drink up…”

She kept staring at Rayner's face till hot tears started streaming down her face. "What's wrong Kira? Why are you crying?" Rayner asked with concern. He wiped her tears away and waited for her answer. Akira shook her head again. " It's nothing. I ju- just never imagined that a day like this would come." she whispered. "A day like what Kira? If you are still thinking about that asshole Lu----" Akira cut him off. "I'm not referring to that. I'm talking abouy you.... I mean you doing all this for me. I thought--- I thought...." she couldn't continue as new hot tears stung her eyes.
