She looked up to see Icran had crawled to his desk drawer and was chugging from a flask. Icran was panting, and lying on his side. He quickly tore open his shirt before looking down at the wound. He ripped out the knife and dropped it to the floor. Rhae stared in amazement as his flesh stitched itself together, closing the wound with no scars remaining. He had Akihyra in his flask, the fruit from the Akiara tree that heals anything. After a few more deep breaths, Icran stood and picked up the knife. Rhae however, still sat there, heaving, trying to hold the blood in with her hand. The pain was intense, she could barely see straight and was losing blood fast.

She couldn’t wait for the tides to change for her; they would be the first to feel her wrath. The soft flicker of the lights danced across Dominus's pale face. His breathing had finally evened out after a while, though his brows were still damp with sweat. Akira leaned closer, her eyes tracing the sharp lines of his jaw and the curve of his lips. She still couldn’t believe she almost had a heart attack when she saw him vomiting just moments ago, still refusing help from the pack doctor. She had thought he might die from all the vomiting, but she was confused as to why he remained stubborn against any pack doctor coming to check on him, unless it was his so-called personal doctor, who was hun

Star literally laughs at me. He walks up to me and bends to put his hands by mine, then he whispers in my ear, “What are you thinking now Akira?” I lift my hand quickly grabbing his head before he could move away, keeping it by my ear so I have access to his. I scrape my nails down the back of his head though his hair to his neck and hold it there, my thumb tracing his jaw. “Now that’s not what we agreed on,” I pause still holding him there and I can feel him breathing down my neck.

I couldn’t tell him what was happening, he wouldn’t understand. Later, after a quick shower, I was drying off when Akira barged into my room With tears in her eyes. My gaze locked onto Akira. A hint of warmth softened my expression. "Akira, what brings you here?" She drifted closer, her hips swaying. "I'm concerned about Kaida. She's been... problematic." My brow furrowed. "What do you mean?" Akira's voice dripped with malice. "She's been challenging the authority, questioning your decisions. I fear she's becoming a threat to pack stability."

My vision blurred with tears and I broke down without even realizing it. There has to be a cure! I'll do anything to stop this pain. After what felt like an eternity of pain, Clarissa came back with someone I had not seen before. A teenager. She had long dark locks which were covered in large gold jewelry. She had a familiar stench. Herbs, smoke, and wax. A bloody witch. “My name is Akira, my lord,” she said fidgeting, like she was terrified to be in my presence. “I don't care who you are! Do something!” I barked.

Stumbling slightly, I regained my balance and looked up to see Akira flanked by her friends, Mirabelle and Rhoda. Akira stopped directly in front of me, her gaze zeroing in on my head. “What’s this?” she sneered. “Who said you could wear a scarf?” Without waiting for a reply, she reached out, yanking the scarf off my head and letting it fall to the ground. She stepped on it with her boot, grinding it into the dirt.

AKIRA’s POV. I sat on my bed, staring blankly into space, my mind blurry, my head spinning like crazy but somehow I did not fall off the bed. I didn't know how I got there or what happened before. Everything felt weird, my head was foggy, and it was like a dream that I couldn't wake up from. But it wasn't a dream, was it? It felt too real, too vivid, everything was there. I tried to remember, but my mind was blank and my brain refused to help. Panic started to set in as I tried very hard to join pieces of what happened. Why did I feel like I was in a trance? Why did I feel so unusual and weird like I was not myself?

That would be the second time and trust me, it was not nice at all. Since then, I've been having them occasionally. In my dreams, it comes. Sometimes, when I see something. I have stared at the woods, on my way home about a week ago, and had another headache. It was agonizing that I thought I was going to faint. When I got home that day, I had to tell Kira. That was when she knew about it. Since then, she's been giving me some medicine that's been helping with making the pain lessen. Also, that was how I got to know that Kira is an artificial doctor. Isn't that weird but cute, too?

Akari struggled to sit up and go to him, but her eyes filled so quickly with tears that she stumbled and fell heavily to her knees. Opening her mouth to scream for help, Akari heard running footsteps and felt something slam down on the back of her head. It hit her so hard and the pain was so shocking and intense it made hot bile surge up in her throat. She gagged and shuddered, but things were growing dark around her. She had to get to Nikolai —had to get help for him.

The doctor nodded. “Are you on any chronic medication?” Aria shook her head. “I took a painkiller last night for a headache, but I didn’t think it would affect me so much.” The doctor noted what she said down and moved to check her pulse. “Do you get headaches often?” “More recently, yes. I went to the doctor a few weeks ago, he put me on painkillers and said it was stress-related.” She frowned, releasing that the symptoms had only been getting worse since then.
