Alpha Zander rose and gave me an accusatory look. “I’m pursuing you not out of love, but to rectify your mother’s magic spell. She had no business writing a spell when she had no idea about the consequences, Granny Erika.” Granny lowered her eyes and so did Aunt Cassie while I gaped at them. What were they talking about?
