Silence. “The contract between us was temporary. Political. It’s over.” He held up the shredded pieces. “As of this morning, Alba Blackwood is my Luna. Not by contract. By choice. By the moon.”

Dhara explained. "Before Rosy, there were only five other hybrids recorded. Only one survived because it came from two species that got along well. The other four were eliminated out of sheer revenge or out of fear of the powers they might develop," Augustine added, staring at Alpha Black. "Why are you looking at Magnus like that, Augustine?" asked Bianca as she grabbed the Alpha's hand in hers. She could hear the wolf's growling getting louder and louder and knew he needed to calm down. "Because Alpha Black is the hybrid that survived," Alo stated.

We can change at any moment that we want. The physical characteristics we're also unique, we have different colors of furs. Our Alpha Maximus was the white one. His eyes were red but it turns into brown haze in the daytime. The twins Cassius and Magnus, both have grey fur, but Cassius has ocean eyes while Magnus's eye color is bright like the sun.

She rolled her eyes but the change took hold. A wolf burst out of the tree line, Alissa's grey with strands of brown flecks wolf padded over to Luca's huge honey brown form, resembling the colour of his hair. Even in wolf form Luca was a foot taller than Alissa – an Alpha Wolf. They walked together into the trees, tails swishing, before Luca's voice shouted, “Go.” To which he broke into a run.

They suited each other in a way. “And a pleasure to see you again, Ms. Moonshadow,” He added. “Chancellor Canis,” I said. “I thought you were too old for things like this?” “Deucalion was a bit insistent on me coming, so here I am,” Albus said with a shrug. Albus Canis was a powerful mage and master of magic, if not the most powerful. He and I helped rebuild the academy after it was almost destroyed by the war of the first Black Rose.

I smeared the last of the blood into the grass beneath me, and I felt the link between the Lapis Moon pack and myself begin to open up. Then Alpha Felix stepped forwards, and the change tore through his body, too. His fur was beautiful, an orange-toned auburn that was at odds with his silver eyes. Luna Carla then shifted beside him, and Felix’s colouring began to make sense. One of her eyes remained the glowing green it had been before, but the other shone orange, and her fur was a light silver. I could feel their power, and as they shifted, I could feel the link between us grow.

Alban said snapping me from my thoughts whilst taking a step back to give me room, my wolf soon bouncing around in my head beyond excited that Alban was finally, going to see what she looked like. Listening to his first request, I awake that side of me and soon shift into my light grey wolf, a colour which most females with Beta blood have. Twisting my head around to click my neck and stretch due to us not being in wolf form for so long, my wolf takes over slightly and stands taller, she wanted to show off all her power to Alban.
