Levi made a face, "I hate studying. I'm just playing." Alaverdi smiled as he watched Levi go back to plucking off one of the insect's hind legs that had made it stagger a little farther from its oppressor while he was distracted. The poor bug struggled to escape one more time with just three legs left but unlike before, a deficiency in another leg was as much as surrendering to death. I turn slowly and see my daughter for the first time in eight years. Layla is standing in the doorway, her eyes roaming around the room before settling on me. “So it is you.” “Yes, Layla.” She sighs as she looks at Alec and asks, “Who is this?” Alec smile’s at her his big blue eyes sparkle with mischief as he says, “My name is Alec, and I will be an Alpha like my dad one day.” She smiles at him as he slides up the bed closer to me and says, “I am sure you will be a great Alpha Alec.”

Jade too looks at Adryan with an enquiring face. "I, I- uh managed to see a picture of you, yes, that's what I was talking about" Adeena instantly replies, Jade knew that she was lying for she wasn't a good liar, and she was stuttering while making up excuses.
