I caressed his hair with a smile. “Then say, ‘Thank You’ to your Superhero.” I told him. “Thank you, Superhero. You were cool.” He showed Alexei a thumbs up. Alexei was smiling at him. My heart skipped a beat seeing his smile. It was the same smile I used to die to see in his lips for me. But today he was smiling so brightly that it was reaching his eyes. “You are most welcome, Dear. May I know your name, little youngman?” He asked in a jolly voice.

Steeling my heart and making a decision that may change my life forever, I look at Alpha Rex and nod. “I accept to be your fake mate.”

Dani reached out a hand as if to touch my face, causing me to lean down, but dropped it before it made contact, “Your eyes are red and you are behaving strangely,” “Is it because you know we have powers like you? Do you not like us any longer?” Axel’s bottom lip trembled. He looked like he was going to cry, “I want my daddy,” “Hey. None of that. I am not creeped out because you have powers. I’m happy,” my hands trembled from how excited I was. “You are?” My face lit up with a bright smile and my eyes went back to the old brown color or the color of Annabelle’s eyes.

“I come to see Elf King, Ruven Omanelis, and Elf Queen, Lenna Omanelis. I bring the letter from Albus White. The elder beyond the elders.” “Túl. Please hil-me. Sina pata.” The elf warrior turned around and led the entrance to Leaf City. “Come. Please follow me. This way.” Draco walked with wide, steady strides following the Elf Warrior. Astrid followed behind him. Since earlier, she had been listening to Elf's words, but she didn't understand the language used at all. Even so, she could guess that they would meet someone, possibly the leader of the elves.

' Arizona squeaked, coming to seat beside me. My brows lifted up, furrowing. That wasn't the reaction I was expecting. I looked at her strangely and when she asked what was wrong I told her so. She just chuckled before turning back to me. 'Well unlike other times, we think we have an explanation for what happened in the library' She said. I sat up straighter, silently urging her with my eyes to keep going. 'Phoenix, we think you are a fire elementalist' Alex mused, handing me a strange sweet smelling liquid. I immediately knew it was one of her healing potions.

Looking at it with all its cooties was driving them insane. They came all this way to get to a dead end. The elf knew what was coming to him but he wouldn't waste his time listening to what any of them had to say. “What do you think you are doing?! You brought us here to lead us to a dead-end. Who does that?!” Alex said with raging fury. “At least let me…” “You do not have any reasonable explanation for this. You just brought us here for nothing. You are wicked and unreasonable!” Justin said groaning in anger.

Alex marveled at the beauty of it all, their mind a whirlwind of emotions. "Alex," a voice called out from behind them, breaking their reverie. Turning around, Alex saw a figure approaching. The newcomer was draped in robes that seemed to dance with an ethereal glow, their presence radiating an aura of wisdom and power. It was Alara, the sage who had first guided them on their journey. "Alara," Alex greeted with a warm smile, "it's good to see you." "And it is always a pleasure to see you, my dear champion," Alara replied, her voice gentle yet commanding. "You have brought hope and light to The Enchanted Realm. You are truly remarkable."

Cale said. "I painted it," Alex said. "Hard to forget." Elion walked to the counter. He reached out. He touched Alex's hand. "You're real," Elion said, tears sliding down his face. "I'm an echo," Alex said kindly. "But a loud one. What can I get you? The usual?" "Two sugars," Cale said. "Oat milk." "And a vanilla latte for the crybaby," Alex said, winking at Elion. "I missed you," Elion sobbed.

I try to be still, and hope he doesn't notice my beating heart or my droopy eyelids. He doesn't. He steps back with a grunt. 'Go on, elf'. For some stupid reason, I blurt, 'It's Saelyna'. He turns sharply at that. 'What did you say, elf?' he snarls, eyes glinting. Right. He's a moose-genn. I definitely should have kept shut. 'A slip, that's all. I apologize', I say quickly and take steps backward. He grinds his jaws and gets back to searching the workers.

"I've already had dinner. " He accesses me from head to toe for a while before speaking and his eyebrows carve in a deep frown, with another unreadable expression flash in his eyes. If i didn't know better, I'll say.... Concern. "No you haven't " before i could open my mouth to deny it he begins taking again. "i know because i know you Alexa, you may think i don't but i do.... " "You don't... " "You used to have a lot of life in you, but now you've lost a lot of weight, you look hollow and you're always wearing a scowl on your face except when that kid is around. "
