She shivered as her skin tingled from where that bloodthirsty creature had brushed her claws before being thwarted by the canine now standing guard before her. Aiden’s dark grey form stood before her, towering over her body as it stood shielding her from the creature that had threatened her. Rhyder's POV. The three heartbeats were very different from each other. One was fast, eratic, and shallow - Alexis. The second sounded like I was listening to it under water - my pup. And the third worried me the most: it was faint and fading - Grace. She was hurt - badly. And she was barely hanging on. I had to get to her before it was too late. I had to get her out of there and away from Alexis. I strained my ears, trying to listen for any sign of movement from inside the shed. Alexis stilled as she was panting, and Mason and Rob took hold of Alexis and lifted her to her feet. “Take her to the cells.” Kydence ordered. “Wholly shit, what was that?” Daniel asked with surprise. “My mate is not a Luna,” Dakota smiled with pride, “the Moon Goddess has blessed her and made her the first female Alpha of the Shadow Mountain and BlackPaw pack’s. We will both be running our packs as Alpha’s.” Dakota explained.

We all walk to the woods, strip and shift into our wolves. Alexis is a beautiful wolf with white fur over most of her body, but with a black patch on her chest and paws. She is also quite large for a female wolf, but I put that down to dad’s Gamma genes. Everyone tells me how unique she is. My usual response is that we are both unique while thanking them for their compliment. We ran for hours before settling down near a stream, where we all played in the water, fought and best of all, just relaxed together. No way could we do this as humans. We wouldn't have the time to get here.

"Alexander, perhaps we should give Allistair a bit more understanding. He has strong feelings about this, and it's not easy for him to put them aside." Allex Xaine Fretzellis, an alpha white wolf with striking golden streaks, entered the room and took in Allistair's appearance with an appreciative gaze. Her eyes lingered on the sleek design of his suit. "Wow, Zaney, you look absolutely stunning. That suit is perfection. And those rose details-so unmistakably you."

And Grey is best on that. Just like a skillful spy and paladin, Grey has gathered all the information he has to know. From this he has proven two things about Austin; first, she is abandoned by her parents and has no one aside from her friend Justin. Two, she is overly obsesses with the existence of mythological beings, especially the race of the lycanthrope. Only one is left for Grey to know, would Austin be able to accept the cruel and horrible truth about the lycans? Would she be able to hold her stand beside a monstrous and bloodthirsty beast?
