Blackmailed by the Bully
Alice muttered, staring straight ahead at the blur of headlights as they passed.
She didn’t know what she was going to say to Jamie when she found him. What could she say?
She squinted out at the park as they pulled to a stop at the run-down little convenience store opposite. She could make out a couple of figures, but they appeared to be rolling in the mud.
“Hurry,” Alice urged. The sinking feeling she’s experienced earlier had returned with a vengeance.
‘Something is wrong,’ Alice thought as she dashed over to her brother.
“Argh,” Alice cried. She saw Adam leaning over her brother, knife in hand.
