My first two matches are complete failures, and I’m about to give up. Then I see Kip’s profile. I swipe right, and so does he. We chat for ages, and agree to meet that evening for dinner. He’s gorgeous. Kind. Sexy. Wicked. Perfect. So I tell him I want him to teach me as much as he can before the sun comes up. I ask for one night. But it’s only the start of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland…

Alice’s Cousin. ​

The girls agreed and chanted the magic words under the full moon, waiting for the book to open. They waited and waited but nothing was happening. "I told you it was nothing but a myth we…" Alice was cut short by Alicia's scream. "Oh gracious goddess! Alice, look at that!" Alice's face was greeted by the bright rays of light that emanated from the book. "Sacred book, take us to wonderland." Alice was yet to get over the shock of the book opening, when she suddenly found herself in a place that looked nothing like the vampire or wolf world. "Wow!" Alicia gushed over the scenery.

I would prepare for my morning routine and soon wait for the boys to arrive. I entered the room and came across a very unusual scene. I didn't know if a hurricane had passed over my bed or if Alice was to blame for it. Of the four pillows on the bed, only one remained there. The sheet was all messed up, the mattress cover was half off, the duvet was on the floor and the last sheet was tangled in her hair, while she was snoring loudly. "Is she human?" I snickered at her situation. I approached Alice slowly, watching her sleep in my bed. I smiled at the memories of the night before, all the things she had said. It seemed like she was going to bring me a lot of fun.

Alice got up and looked at the king-sized bed she slept in like a baby. The room was at least three times bigger than her room, and it was magnificent. She was captivated by the fancy chandelier hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room. The word “wow “escaped her mouth. Her hand reached her neck when she remembered what occurred last night. She thought she was going to die. Who saved her? She wondered. Alice tried to remember his face, but it was blurry in her memory. The door burst open the next moment, startling her and her eyes met the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen.

Alice didn't need to think further about the reason behind her excitement as she astonishly watched her turn the skeletons to dust, falling back to the floor where they belonged. "So…all done." The lady laughed and Alice snapped out of her daze. "Who are you?" Alice asked again but this time with more confidence and color to her formerly pale face. Alice was yet to realize that the rain had stopped. The rain which she believed would end up uprooting big trees and destroying both big and small houses abruptly stopped. "Wow.. didn't know you have a short term memory. Do you really not know who I am? " the lady blinked innocently, her lips out in a pout and if Alice hadn't witnessed her bizarre

A dim smile lit up the world when Alice sat on the wooded bench that had been her favorite all along. Memories assaulted her mind at the mere instant she saw a couple in front of her. They were young as well. She smiled proudly at him and he, Alice could have said the same of him but maybe, in the same way as her, the girl was living in a lie. ‘ “Close your eyes and tell me, what flavor is this?” asked Gabriel, smilingly. Alice obeyed his orders. The same game over and over. Then, she felt a pair of hands on the back of her head. She couldn't help but giggle while the way to his lips shortened without realizing.

Alice said her words kept short as she cringed. Jonah coughed a little bit at the mention of James being her step brother and gave her the side eye, his face asking her to explain. Alice watched a range of questions flash across Jonah's face before he finally masked it and looked at her waiting. Alice let out a sigh, tilting her head back and pushing into the seat. “So it's a messed up version of cinderella. To be short with everything.” Alice groaned not wanting to go down memory lane and have another person feel sorry for her.

For the first time in a long while, someone touched me without cruelty. And I let myself feel. QUESTION OF THE DAY Alice has discovered that her husband has another woman—will she finally walk away? A little girl fell into a rabbit hole, found a cake with a card that says “eat me”. She grew big as a giant eating it, made a bunch of friends, and woke up intact. What a kind world she lived in. Whoever wrote it couldn’t have witnessed a war.
