Through Love and Instinct

Through Love and Instinct

"Your majesty, I know I may sound so rude and disrespectful, but I have been noticing this for the past couple of days." Hamlet suddenly said, his eyes are locked to something outside the window of my chamber. This room has this huge window, one or even two person could fit. This glass with golden edge window allows one to see the outside very clearly and easy. One can even see some parts of the Lycto from here. It serves as my watch tower, allowing me to see who entered and left the kingdom of Arcadia.

A DEAL WITH THE BILLIONAIRE

A DEAL WITH THE BILLIONAIRE

********** KALMIA’S POV I turned my gaze to see through the open sunlit window that warmed my room at that very moment, announcing the arrival of a brand new day. The play of morning light across the walls had the soundtrack of soft, gentle ripples and was one of the most exciting times of my day. For a moment, I savored that morning autumn by letting me lie there before stirring, knowing it was finally time to turn the clock to a fresh day.

Sarafina: His 9th Wife

Sarafina: His 9th Wife

I sighed as I looked outside the bedroom windows, taking in the sight of the weather outside. I stood up from the bed and walked towards the windows, leaning against them as I watched the raindrops fall one by one and watched lightning flash across the sky. As dangerous as this weather was, I loved it and I enjoyed these kind of days. Sure, sunny days were beautiful and would uplift your mood, but days like these were what I truly craved for and enjoyed. I would spend days like these either coming up with my greatest pieces or crying over anything my sensitive self would choose to torture my mind over.

The flowing sadness

The flowing sadness

They always spared time for her in everything no matter how long it took fir them to wait. Hence, as the two couples remained silent, Loathefiya got closer to the window and sighed, “It’s just….” She spoke at her will as she wasn’t looking at the two but, her eyes were lowered at the running road below the window edge, “I use to have a habit back at home……and that was when the day light would go off, I would wait for daddy to return home as he could be seen appearing from the window of our living room…….the large red sofa near the window and opened curtain opened to view the out street…….I could see him as I use to sit with my knees on the cushion……it won’t be long………it never took long……..”

Seven Days to Forget

Seven Days to Forget

When I returned home, it was late. I washed up quickly and headed to bed. I had terrible nightmares the entire night. I woke up the next day to birds chirping outside the window, welcoming a brand-new day. Six more days were left until I completely lost my memories. I got out of bed with a slight headache and a fever. I headed downstairs groggily to get some medicine. At the bottom of the stairs, I saw Raven toppling a huge Lego set I placed in the living room. Pieces of bricks were scattered all over the floor.

Staying with him

Staying with him

He left at five past seven, the keys in the bowl briefly and then not, the door and then the sound of the stairs. She stood at the kitchen window and watched him emerge from the building below, the kit bag over one shoulder, the same walk she had watched from this window for three years, and she thought about the first morning she had ever seen him from a window, the curtain and the coffee and the professional nod. She was still watching from a window. The watching had not changed. Everything else had. The rest of the first full week arrived in instalments, each evening carrying a different quality than the one

Have you seen me?

Have you seen me?

___________________________________________________________________________ 22 / 11 / 2021 I watch as the various colour vehicles zoom pass by me – there was some thing soothing about the way there always seemed to have people who were busier than my family , it gave me a please of mind that we were normal. Does it make sense? I truly do not know. I always had a habit of looking out the window on a long trip – watching the sky , watching the people , some times watching the animals graze on the fields. It was all so thrilling!

Annalisa

Annalisa

84 ANNALISE I stood by the window, gazing out at the horizon. The sun dipped below the trees, casting a warm glow over the landscape. It felt like a moment frozen in time. Adrian stood beside me, close enough that I could feel the warmth radiating from him. I didn’t want to look away, not now. “Isn’t it beautiful?” he asked, his voice soft, breaking the comfortable silence between us. I nodded, still lost in thought. “It reminds me of those days in the village when the sun would set, and everything felt perfect.”

109 Days of Obsession

109 Days of Obsession

I woke to silence and cold sheets beside me. Dominic was gone. The indent from his body had already cooled, which meant he'd been up for a while. I lay there for a moment, listening to the city hum outside the windows—so far below we might as well have been in another world. The clock on the nightstand read 7:47 AM. I had no idea what time he'd left. I pulled myself out of bed and padded barefoot across the room. The penthouse felt different in daylight—less like a trap, more like a museum. Everything in its place. Nothing out of place. Nothing real.

Mate's Rejection, Brother's Obsession

Mate's Rejection, Brother's Obsession

DARIUS She didn't know I watched from the greenhouse light. I hadn't planned to start doing it. The first morning she went out there I was at the study window with my coffee and I saw it come on through the glass panels in the early dark and I stood there longer than I had any reason to. Then I went back to my desk. Didn't mention it to anyone. Didn't particularly examine it myself. That was eleven days ago. Now I looked for it every morning the way you look for something that has quietly stopped being optional. Whether it was on. Whether it stayed on. Whether she came back inside before or after Hilda put breakfast out.
