Chapter 15: Two Moons Entwined Chris read through the result slip a couple of times, thinking he had mistaken the word “Alpha” as “Omega”. Nevertheless, no matter how many times he read it, the word “Alpha” was clearly stated there. For whatever unknown reasons, Chris was not satisfied with the result and he was denying the fact Nathan was an Alpha. Before this, he was certain his best friend was an Alpha and he did not mind it. My face showed a little bit of my expression. Noticing that she looked at me and tried to change the mood. -How about we talk about your life, first we should get to know each other a little bit. Those words surprised me a little with her change of attitude, it was as if she wanted to have something with me, but not so fast. I kept listening to each of his words. -You look like a Beta, but I can tell you're an Alpha, which somehow attracts me. Not that I like you.

The Beta is also the one who promotes warriors and trains them or delegates those task to Head Warriors.” Bailey spoke. I nod my head in understanding as I feel Sophia scoot closer to me on the couch and grab my hand excitedly.

“Big words from a Beta.” Heather made an appreciative “oh no he didn’t” sound. Liam smiled. “Do I look like a Beta to you?” he asked softly. Gunner’s smile faltered. Because there, in the dark, with Collin’s snarl still vibrating the air and the wards thrumming like live wire and Liam standing naked and unscarred but somehow more dangerous than any of them, even Gunner felt it. Collin Hale was Alpha. Liam carried that bite.

Alex looked over to where Ash was looking and saw four people. One was a long, black-haired female with good style who looked older and clearly was an alpha. And an arm was wrapped around her by a man who is clearly his mate, and he is also Alpha. Next to them was a boy who was like a teenager's kid and was also an Alpha. He was holding hands with a pretty lady with brown, shaggy hair and glasses. She was a beta. He saw the four of them make their way towards a table. Alex looked over at Ash and grabbed his hand gently as he led them to the table his siblings were at with their drinks in their free hands.

But for now, I had to read. I flipped the page of the big textbook. I was going through one of the works that were given to me in the Beta training class. I had little to no interest in reading these books, but I still had to read them anyway. In order to be a perfect Beta to your Alpha, you had to go through these classes. And the last thing I wanted to be? A flop Beta. I was putting all my mind into this reading even if it was taking me more time to comprehend the text than it was to read.
