Alpha Beta Omega Hierarchy Novels & Stories

"Killing is strictly forbidden unless you have a compelling reason to do so, and in my world, only Alphas have the right to kill." "Alpha? You often talk about that," I muttered. "What does it mean?" "If it's likened to castes in the human world, then Alpha is the highest caste in my world. Next are Betas, like Sander, Ilya, Ronan, and some of the other Betas you know at the office. Betas are the Alphas' henchmen, loyal and obedient. Then, there are Omegas, considered the weakest caste. In the past, they were only considered reproductive tools, but now, Omegas are valued equally with Alphas and Betas, because apparently, without them, we would be wiped out," Thiery answered seriously.

“B-But… Why me? I am just an omega.” Alpha Jake glanced at Mara, sensing her uncertainty and the weight of the situation upon her shoulders. He spoke with a calm and reassuring tone, "Mara, in the eyes of the moon goddess, the status of an omega, beta, or alpha doesn't define one's worthiness. The moon goddess's choice is not based on societal ranks or hierarchies within the pack. It's about a deeper connection, a bond that goes beyond what we can see on the surface."

His voice came as a command, but I didn't say a word. "You marked her, Oliver. Now you must take her as your Luna and never mark another." He gave the final judgment and I watched my world attempt to crumble before me. I'm an Alpha under a curse already, and need a strong Luna beside me, how on earth should I settle for a weak omega as my Luna? My chest tightened in pain, and I felt waves of pain over my body. Sane tapped her feet on the floor in rage and began to run back to her pack. We both knew it was over. We both know the tradition.

Ana mutters, and my eyebrows shoot up. In a werewolf community there was a strict chain of command, The Alpha and Luna, the Betas, the Gammas, the Deltas, the Zetas, then the Omegas. Zeta's were former Omegas who managed to climb out of the gutters and gain a position of respect of sorts, most slaves were omegas, most normal people were Zeta's, climbing from Omega to Zeta was no easy feat, but then again it shouldn't be something too difficult when you're sleeping with the Alpha's Whore. Karla smirked, clearly basking in the show of respect. "Do you know what time it is?"

As she was lathering in the shampoo, she began telling me about the werewolves’ pack structure, the creamy and sweet notes of coconut permeating the air as she elucidated, “The three most important members are the Alpha, Beta, and Omega. You’ve met my pack’s leadership trio already.” That remark had my eyes zipping open once more, and I tried to turn to look into Kat’s eyes, bewilderment the dominant emotion coursing through me. In any event, she gently held my head in place, continuing to work the conditioner into my tangled strands after I stopped moving. I could guess that Silas was the Alpha after what I’d overheard and the respect he appeared to command amongst his peers, but I didn’t t

Luke POV Kate continued her history lesson on the supreme alpha as I listened intensely. “In the old days a wolf pack hierarchy were more rank based and went like: Alpha Beta Luna Packmembers Omegas Slaves Rouges Whereas the Alpha was the top of the pack and the Beta in second command and the Luna was third in command normally with no authority but with the status of the alpha’s mate. Her lack of influence was solely based on her being a female and therefor she was more for show than having an actual responsibility towards the pack. Her only job was to ensure the heritage of the pack by giving the alpha a male heir.

He’s totally stunned. “A Pack is a group of werewolves. We basically are like a family that protects and cares for each other. And we have a hierarchy, ranked members based on your blood and strength. So Alpha CJ is our current leader because he is the strongest and has Alpha blood. His father, Alpha Alonzo, was the previous Alpha. And then there are the Betas like me who are second in command. There are many of us Betas throughout the territory because we own so much land. Many smaller Packs wanted to join us. So that we could provide them with better protection from Rogues. And other species trying to wipe them out! There are also Gammas or third in command and Deltas or forth in command.

he replied. I nodded. He has a point. “So how does this whole werewolf lifestyle work?” “That's a lesson for another day,” he said teasingly. “There's a lot to learn.” “Well, I've seen werewolf movies,” I said. “Alpha is the leader, and then there's Beta, Gamma…Omega is the lowest rank, right?” He nodded. “That's accurate.” “You and your brothers are Alphas, so what does that make me?” I asked. Caden's lips curved into a mysterious smile. “We'll find out. Eventually.”

"Remember carefully, Caroline, your identity as Leykan depends on your scent and aura" Balthazar explained that morning in the backyard of his castle. "Alphas have an aura of domination, because they were born to lead. Then there are Betas in the number two position, but they were not appointed from birth because they were chosen by Alpha. Then there are the members of the Pack, and the last one is Omega." "So Omega has the lowest rank in the Pack?" I asked with a frown. The only Omega I knew was Edward Adler's daughter, but I never met her in person.

My voice sliced the morning air, low and lethal, vibrating through the courtyard. Maids scattering in the foyer dropped trays, porcelain shattering; guards averted eyes; even the wind seemed to still. “Get me warm water and a clean dress. And tell the healer that his attention is needed, immediately.” Gavin’s mouth opened, then snapped shut. He knew the line—cross it, and I’d break him. “Yes, Alpha,” he muttered, spinning to bark orders at the nearest omegas. I carried her up the grand staircase, her blood seeping through my shirt, warm and sticky against my skin. The manor’s shadows clung to us, torchlight flickering off portraits of past alphas, their painted eyes judging my every step.
