Alex looked over to where Ash was looking and saw four people. One was a long, black-haired female with good style who looked older and clearly was an alpha. And an arm was wrapped around her by a man who is clearly his mate, and he is also Alpha. Next to them was a boy who was like a teenager's kid and was also an Alpha. He was holding hands with a pretty lady with brown, shaggy hair and glasses. She was a beta. He saw the four of them make their way towards a table. Alex looked over at Ash and grabbed his hand gently as he led them to the table his siblings were at with their drinks in their free hands.

Connor gives me a bewildered look and gazes back out the window in disbelief. “Who is Declan, Connor? Eddie Morano is a crazy asshole that everyone is scared of. How is it that this man comes along with a million-dollar car and kicks his ass without breaking a sweat? This is crazy.” I reply, holding my hands up in surrender. Connor shrugs his shoulders with a puzzled frown. “I asked him, but he wouldn’t answer. I mean, he had a military jacket in his file, which means he’s trained to kill people. Right?”

Connor made a sound with his throat: « I am technically at fault here…. » « No. » Alpha Wayne said « He attacked you, a Beta. This could start a war! » « I don't think so, Alpha Wayne. You are not listening to me. I put myself in this whole situation. There will be no war. And everybody will go to the Luna ceremony without saying anything to anyone… I am the one who broke an ancestral rule today.» Connor said shamelessly. « Bianca, would you be a dear and release me, please ? »

Tatiana puts her hand in his and he gently pulls her in the direction of the clearing away from the prying eyes and ears. "That's Zion. Future Alpha of the Mystic Shadow Pack, Fenris's pack", mutters Connor sullenly making me laugh at his expression and then stop. If the Alpha's son is here, it means that Fenris might also be here. "Did you meet Fenris then? Is he here?" I ask Connor shaking his shoulder to wake him from his rage filled dream. "Stop it, kiddo. I am listening to you. You will dislocate my shoulder," growls Connor moving out of my grasp.

He immediately turned to Alpha Max, “Give her to me, to be my mate” “Derrick?” Alpha Max called out, looking all surprised and beaten to it.

He has no time to make any of us feel like we are different. He comes to stand beside Niko, letting the silence follow after him. He doesn’t need to speak. His gaze drifts over everyone, staring at the front of the line, where Baylee stands. A dark, steady gaze shifts up and down her body before he blankly looks at her. Someone from beside her nudges her out of her daydream, where she was studying him as much as he was her. “Ah, I’m Baylee. Baylee Torres,” she says quickly, flushing bright pink under his scrutiny. He nods, before he does the exact same movements with his gaze with the person next to him. Each stutter over their name, while the Alpha says nothing.

Nonetheless, I was glad for it. “You seem to know a lot of places here.” Connor nodded. “I've lived here most of my life.” I nodded, surprised at this revelation. “My father is the Alpha of this pack.” I froze. “What? But..” “It's a lot. And I'm so sorry I left you in the dark before now.” I said nothing, still stunned by all this. I always believed that Connor was a part of Alpha Wade's pack. Because of this I began to wonder what else he had kept from me. Noting my doubtful expression, Connor took my hand in his, apologizing profusely.

******** Connor was captured with great difficulty, out of the hundred men Nicholas took with him, Connor killed fifty one, with his Elongated nails and fangs, he also had the advantage of the sun, Connor can't get burned by sun but other vampires get burned, at last he was captured, taken to a secure location and chained Nicholas plan worked, now the question remains how will they Connor of his madness if Alaina can't get to him, his demon has taken complete control over his senses. Alaina couldn't do anything to help, she stood helplessly outside his gate.
