When Ash woke up, he saw sunlight bursting through the windows and creeping through the blinds behind his closed eyelids. Ash groaned and slowly opened his eyes. When he looked around, he saw that he wasn't in his bedroom anymore, and when he felt a strong arm wrapped around his waist, he started to freak out. He slowly turned his head, and when he saw it was just Alex, the memories of last night came flooding back to him. Ash sighed and closed his eyes once more. The next thing he felt was a kiss on his neck, and when he opened his eyes, he saw Alex looking straight at him.

I lay back, resting my head on the pillow, and closed my eyes, letting out a deep sigh. The scent of Alpha Red's cologne, the feel of his bed, and the sense of safety that came with being in his space all combined to lull me into a deep sleep. I didn't even realize I was drifting off until it was too late, and I was fast asleep on Alpha Red's bed.

There were many rooms in this one, which made it feel a little different, yet it was still easy to target the important spaces. Looking up at the clock on the wall, Adrian could see the time—12:40, deep into the midnight hours. The room felt chilly, the air-conditioner filling the atmosphere with cold. On the bed, a fat man lay snoring away in careless sleep. And just then, a chime sound could be heard. I plopped on my bed. Slowly thinking about this morning, I laid flat in bed, my eyes slipped, slowly as I drifted off into sleep. * I woke up to gentle knocks on my door, i sat up in bed, in shock to see that the moon was out. "Talie?" Hearing Alpha's voice, every ounce of sleep in my face faded away. I jolted to my feet and unlocked the door. He stared at me with a smile that made my heart want to melt, I didn't know if it was the sudden mate bond but everything about him felt more attractive.

Maridelle woke up with arms wrapped around her. She had slowly turned around to see Alpha Lachlan in deep slumber. She neared her fingers on his face. She has let it slide on his cheek. His arms wrapped around the source of the scent, and he happily hummed as he pressed his nose against it and took a deep breath in.

The 13-hour drive was no joke, and it probably tired her out. I took a deep breath and savor her scent. This would help calm me tonight and hopefully, I would be able to sleep knowing she was just around me. I pushed the door opened and stepped in, locking it without opening any lights.
