Alex walked into the large room, with stacks of books and two lamps by the edges of the center table where the Alpha sat. “Good you're here. I've been wanting to speak to You”, the Alpha continued. “What brings you here, by the way?” he adjusted his square-framed glasses to get a clear view of Alex. “I presumed a nice chat with my father would be nice”, he lied. He didn't want to give a clue about Lucia's call. The Alpha threw a suspicious look at him, before closing the book in front of him. “Have a seat”, he continued. “The Alpha of Alvarez Kingdom has agreed on the union. We're making arrangements. Your wedding is in two months. Congratulations son.”

I had my wedding dress wrapped in a bag beside me as a gift for a worthy Luna I was going to pick to be his bride! It was now nightfall and the moon would soon be out. The wedding vows of the Alpha and his Luna were to be said outside in the garden of the castle under the moonlight. Liam was tired and he wanted to take a nap. “I will be going to bed now.” Liam told Alpha Felix. “You won’t stay longer?” Alpha Felix asked. Liam shook his head. “No I have to rest now. Thank you for the invitation into your pack mating ceremony. By tomorrow I’ll sign the contract.”

He pressed his bloody knife to my father’s throat, a smile playing on his lips. “Do you accept your daughter as my bride?” My heart stopped.
