Rafe steps up in front of me, his eyes softening as a small smile plays on his lips. “Back off everyone,” though not the alpha here, his voice still carries command. “Koda, run to my tent please, and bring back one of my shirts and shorts.” The boy I followed nods and runs off to do his bidding. We wait only a few moments in tense silence for him to return. My eyes stay on Rafe the entire time, letting him see the anger in them. The Alpha commanded everyone. Five minutes later, everyone, including Luna Lisa, had shifted. The Alpha took the lead, with his wife by his side. Off, the entire pack went running into the woods. Barely thirty minutes into their run, a loud howl filled the night. The entire pack stopped running and turned to the wolf who let out an agonized howl. It turned out to be Luna Lisa. Two female wolves went to her and she let them know the baby was coming. They communicated this to the entire pack using mind-link. At once, the Alpha shifted back to his human form.

He looks at the crowd for back up and a few wolf's in the crowd nod their heads in confirmation. Someone has been spreading rumors about me being a stripper. On the screen was a scene I would probably never forget as long as I lived. Drone footage of a wolf running through the crowded streets of the marketplace was playing on the screen, with big, red, flashing letters at the bottom that read: “RAMPAGING ALPHA ATTACK UNSUSPECTING CITIZENS: LIVE FOOTAGE.” My stomach dropped. The wolf on the screen was enormous, with wiry black fur and dark eyes that were so distinct and familiar that it made me clap my free hand over my mouth in shock. “That’s Daddy,” Nora whispered, reading my mind.

The bond was warm and alive. Rafe was the one to come over to us. He was limping. His chest was wrapped in a bandage that was already turning red.. He was grinning. "You did it " he said. His voice was cracking. "Both of you. I saw the light from across the field. I saw you tear that guys throat out. You are the White Wolf." I managed a smile. "Yeah. I guess I am."

Thankfully, she had survived and finally found a slither of second to escape. Unfortunately, my presence didn't go unnoticed by the rogue. Its attention shifted to me, and a furious snarl escaped its jaws, its eyes filled with a vacant, menacing intensity. Just as it was about to make a move toward me, Alpha Chase, in his brownish-black wolf form, darted past, using his swift movements to knock a line of rogues off balance, sending them crashing onto the cold pavement.

He was a black wolf with a white scar the shape of lightning under his left eyelid. He together with a brown wolf attacked Alpha Clause, leaving me unprotected for the smaller wolf that was ash in color to attack me. They might have thought that I was weak and that was why they had only one small wolf attack me, but I was strong and I would show them. I threw a kick at the wolf's jaw and he reared back, letting out a loud growl both in pain and anger.
