Alphas Stepping Novels & Stories

she said in a quiet voice. My brows furrowed. “Who could it be?” Kaiden didn't need to be introduced when entering my chambers. Who was it? I wondered. “Send them in.” I rose to my feet, taking the book with me. Jasper walked into the room, draped in a mourning attire. “Jasper, what's going on? What's with the attire?” I asked softly. Jasper dropped his eyes to the marble floor, his voice shaking as he spoke. “The Alpha is dead.” The book in my hand dropped to the floor.

The remaining Eclipse agents had either been crushed by the ley line backlash or restrained by the Alphas who were now recovering from the suppression grid. The air was thick with dust and fractured marble. Then— Movement. One by one, the gathered Alphas began walking toward us. Tiger. Wolf. Dragon. Even a bear Alpha from the eastern territories. They approached slowly. Not aggressively. Not uncertainly. And then— They dropped to one knee. All of them. The marble cracked under the collective weight. “Your Majesty,” the Tiger Alpha said, head bowed. “We are at your mercy.” The words echoed in the ruined rotunda.

” Perodua offered to pull closer to me. I may argue, but it might be a bad idea too. I nodded in response, pulling myself even closer; the frown on my face had stiffened, and I was not anxious anymore. I headed out the door with him by my side; luckily enough, our cocks are no longer stiff; we had many pressing issues at hand. “Alpha,” Trevor, my beta, had greeted, bowing his head in an inclined position.

The scent of blood still lingered in the earth. An Elder who survived, an old and hunched wolf with silver hair, stepped forward with a heavy heart. His eyes met Serena's. "The Alpha left a command before his final breath," he said. Serena's breath caught. "He named you his successor. You are to lead the pack. You are our new Alpha." Gasps echoed around her. Her lips parted, but no words came out. "Me? No. I can't even defend myself in a fight . I don’t even… I'm not even…”

Byron looked at me and didn't move. “Gabe, I knotted. Get the doctor here now.” Shit. He was the Alpha of all Alphas. The king if you will. We pledged ourselves to him, we remained Alphas, but he was stronger, faster, and bigger than all wolves. No pack can run with more than one Alpha without one being the Alpha of all Alphas. We were the only pack in a thousand years to produce triplet Alphas. Twins were extremely rare for Alphas, triplets were incomprehensible to most of our kind.

Something was off, and the feeling within the room became palpable. “Welcome gentlemen, I am honored that so many of you could join us tonight,” Alexander started. He leaned forward resting his hands on the table as he looked directly into the camera. “There are just five days left until the action starts, and I thought it was high time you got a little preview of what you are all fighting for. How many of you have dreamed about having your very own human pet? Someone that would answer to you and only you, the type that you could use and abuse in any way you saw fit only for her to come back begging for more?”

Alex looked over to where Ash was looking and saw four people. One was a long, black-haired female with good style who looked older and clearly was an alpha. And an arm was wrapped around her by a man who is clearly his mate, and he is also Alpha. Next to them was a boy who was like a teenager's kid and was also an Alpha. He was holding hands with a pretty lady with brown, shaggy hair and glasses. She was a beta. He saw the four of them make their way towards a table. Alex looked over at Ash and grabbed his hand gently as he led them to the table his siblings were at with their drinks in their free hands.

“No one suspected you?” The pack doctor shook his head, his beard bouncing as he did. “I went to the strange Alphas, and let me tell you; they are the ones who will make you shit your pants with just one look. Twice my size. But I had these pills to make me an Alpha, and they didn't even flinch at my scent. Just pointed, asked what I was doing outside the border, and I made up some story and got out. The pills worked, I tell you.” Allie was amazed by the story, her eyes wide and mouth hanging slightly open in awe. And that’s how she started taking those pills from the past six months.

“It’s in the contract.” Ash sighed, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Alpha’s could hide their scent, but they were terrible at hiding their red-blooded reactions. Alex was clearly trying his best, but there was a huffing flare to his nostrils that easily gave him away. “We still need to do a top down assessment, including resources. No layoffs planned,” Ash clarified. He leaned forward, smirking at the disgruntled Alpha. “I promise,” he purred in a submissive tone he knew would ease whatever was riling up inside the man.

The only thing I recognized. “Thank you,” I said, hoping to convey all the emotions I felt. “I’ll talk to Stephen and Carrick first. They have sway within their packs.” I remembered he said Stephen was the next Alpha of Blue Ridge, so Carrick must be the Beta of White Forest. “If I can get them to agree and convince the Alphas, they will be essential in helping your cause. So it’s not just me advocating for you. We might have them and potentially their Alphas…” he trailed off, thinking.
