Novel & Cerita Alvin Chipmunks 2007

Olivia “Alvin?” I called out, leaning forward to get a better look at the supposed monster in front of me. “Is that you?” In the quiet stretch between one breath and the next, my world changed. The creature — Alvin, I was sure — froze as though he’d been struck by lightning at the mention of his name. This was Alvin, my childhood friend. I was sure of it now. In fact, as I looked at him, he suddenly didn’t seem so large and beastly at all anymore. He was just a regular-sized werewolf with a missing paw and a sad look on his face.

As I will always be. Quietly, we navigated among the trees, tracking the noise of the howl. Upon reaching the top of a modest incline, I caught sight of it. The dire wolf exceeded my expectations in its magnificence. The fur of the creature was a dark, smoky gray, and it was twice as big as a typical wolf. "Wow," I whispered, mesmerized by it, unable to look away. Kieran nodded, showing a mixture of admiration and wariness in his expression. Isn't it lovely to look at? However, do not allow that to deceive you. These animals are just as stunning as they are hazardous.

My voice rises up first, a deep, resonant alpha call that vibrates through the frozen stones of the summit, carrying every ounce of my soul, my loyalty, and my undying love for my mate and our people. Within a fraction of a second, Aichonne joins me, her voice harmonizing with mine in a clear, soaring melody that cuts through the howling mountain wind. One by one, thousands of loyal wolves across the amphitheater lift their heads and let loose a deafening, unified howl of defiance and allegiance.

Cherry Now I was alone in the deep forest, scanning through the surroundings in concentration. Just as I was running out of patience after hours-long search, Fern's faint voice ringed in my ears. "Mommy...I want my mommy..." That was my pup! My wolf got excited and sprinted to the source of Fern's cries. “Fern! Mommy's here for you!” My wolf and I roared as Fern's voice became clearer and clearer, until my feet stopped in front of a cabin.

“Most wolves there speak the common tongue.” “They do, but Adrian insisted that speaking the old pack dialects helps you get much better prices from the local hunters.” “That makes sense,” Theo says, nodding his large head. “And you stayed behind in the Moonhaven Metropolis?” “Yes, I did.” I take a very deep, shaky breath to keep from crying again. “We had a shared iron box at the pack bank where we all put our gold. While they were away, they called my scrying stone, sounding totally panicked. They said the Alpha Council was holding up our shipments at the border for a hundred different reasons. They begged me to put more silver into the shared box. They swore they were putting in their own

He says, holding my gaze. I shrug one shoulder. “You’re quite easy to forgive. It is not hard, when we both want the same thing.” “The same thing,” he murmurs, shifting his focus to the boys. “Yes…” The boys come tramping up the hill towards us, a fluffy puppy wrapped in Alvin’s arms. The puppy is the smallest of the pack, with a white stripe running down its face, four white paws, and a copper spot on his rump. “Mama,” Alvin whines softly, and I can see already that his eyes are full of love. “Please, mama…”

Oh this is just adorable. “He is called a bunny.” I told the chipmunk, hoping that it will learn something. “They can jump very high and they usually like carrots.” I saw the chipmunk’s face morphing into something like what a pervert’s face would look like as it looked at the bunny. No way...is the chipmunk...to the bunny…?

The bowl flips over and a few other items fall to the ground, creating a crashing sound. My skill does not fail me as my heavy right paw cages the chipmunk to the floor. He trills and releases consecutive chipping distress calls. I laugh inside of Tyr’s head while he prolongs a lethal growl, slowly lowering his head to the rodent, baring his teeth as drool drops on the floor. The chipmunk squiggles and squeals to no avail. Tyr opens his mouth wide and takes the chipmunk between his canines. My wolf and I celebrated victory but it was short-lived when the light flicked on and the scent of pineapple and bergamot hit our senses. We froze with our back to her.

Every cent of it went to his medical care. He arrested seventeen of the loudest rumormongers and announced their exile from pack lands for ten years. After they heard the truth, the wolves lowered their heads. They knew now: I was the spine that had let their wounded Alpha stand again. They accepted that I was fit to be the Crimson Flame Luna. The Black Iron envoys, their faces dark, said nothing and left.

I shot back, cocking my head as Jonathan came to stand beside me. “My healer’s child and an important member of my pack strayed into your den. Forgive me for rushing to save her from you, given your history of taking women from my pack without permission—only for them to end up dead,” he snapped back, a devilish grin spreading across his face. “You’d be wise to tread lightly, Alpha Xavier,” Jonathan warned, but Xavier just shot him a dismissive look. “Keep your dog on a leash, or I’ll do it for you. Betas should know their place and stay quiet when Alphas are speaking,” he said coldly, looking Jonathan over.
