Jason immediately puffed out his chest, adopting that entitled tone he used to remind everyone of his official position. "Yes, this is the science club. How may I help you?"
"Oh, that's nice. My name is Amanda," she said with a cheerful wave before claiming a seat like she owned it.
"I don't know who you think you are, but I don't think you're in the right room," he told her, his voice dripping with condescension.
She glanced around the science posters and periodic table as if confirming her location, then shrugged. "No, I'm in the right room," she announced with a bright smile before returning to her phone.
