In search of true heart

In search of true heart

Rudra watched as comprehension dawned in Abhi’s eyes, the glowing sword still casting its ethereal light around the room. He knew that now was the time to reveal more of the ancient truths. “Abhi,” Rudra began, his voice carrying the weight of countless generations, “in every Yuga, a human figure has risen to stand against the forces of evil, protecting humanity and restoring balance. These heroes, through their extraordinary deeds and sacrifices, have been revered and worshiped as gods.”

The teacher had smiled. “Arjuna was a great hero. There is no doubt about that. However, he was a human like us and so had his fears and doubts like us. That is why the bhagavadgita and the Mahabharata are relevant for kaliyuga as they answer a lot of questions.” “Sir, if Arjuna says that caste should be based on birth, isn’t it evil?”

MAYA

MAYA

Krishna said placing his hands on Raghu's shoulders. "Kaurav and Pandu were brothers too, Krishna yet Mahabharat happened." "Arjun never wanted a war, Raghu yet, it was the Dharma that he had to protect and on Lord Krishna's word he fought and won. And it wasn't because he had Lord Krishna on his side, Raghu. It was because Lord Krishna would never side with the Adharma and I too am not being on the side of wrong here." Krishna explained. "So, now you think that whatever Maya had done is right that whatever she does is to protect Dharma. Great!" Raghu said and Krishna tried to hold his hands but Raghu pushed him away.

“What is this part of the story? Mahabharata?” “Nope,” said Rajata, “As far as I know it is part of the Bhagavata Purana.” “What kind of story is that? How do you know?” Kalyana commented, “but, ah, even if I'm lied to, I can only just believe it!” Rajata chuckled. “I've been here many times, Na, and happened to have read about Prambanan,” he replied “So don't worry, I'm not lying!” Kalyana smiled, then returned to observe the carvings on the stone. “Did you get hurt when you took the photo here?”

Javier seemed unimpressed by the information as he looked at Dave with his jaw twitching. "Murals: The many murals combine to form a long depiction of the Ramakian, the Thai national epic inspired by the Indian epic Ramayana. The story includes the beginning of the world and depictions of Hanuman, the monkey king and general." Dave added. "What does this mean?" "Nothing. I just thought there might be some helpful info here. It’s just the story about how this place was discovered. Maybe we should check out the welcome centre and see if there is anything helpful there."

First, this book is WOW. It started with character background and development so well, that you gape at it....then.. it will make you want to read more 2 know more. I did not expect the plot to turn in a twist.. that was... WOW! LOVE IT. Read to know more... that's the clue. few errors but it's OK.

Ambika's story in the 'Mahabharata' is one of those lesser-known threads that fascinates me. She was the daughter of Kashi's king and became a wife of Vichitravirya after Bhishma abducted her and her sister Ambalika during their swayamvara. Tragically, Vichitravirya died young without heirs, leaving Ambika and Ambalika in a precarious position. Satyavati, their mother-in-law, then invoked the ancient practice of niyoga, asking her son Vyasa to father children with them.

Ambika’s reaction to Vyasa’s unsettling appearance—closing her eyes during their union—resulted in her son Dhritarashtra being born blind. This detail always struck me as poetic irony; her fear indirectly shaped the Kauravas' destiny, as Dhritarashtra’s blindness (both literal and moral) played a pivotal role in the epic’s conflicts. It’s a reminder of how small choices ripple into grand consequences in mythology.
