Mistaken the CEO for My Husband
I thought maybe I had a husband, but I couldn't remember why.
He blinked, looking a little confused. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Instead, he stood up and left the room, returning a few minutes later with a male doctor.
After about thirty minutes of being examined, the doctor sighed and pulled back.
"It seems you've experienced a severe case of retrograde amnesia," the doctor said gently. "You've lost access to some—or maybe all—of your memories prior to the recent trauma. It's not uncommon with physical and emotional shock."
