Leering, cruel and drooling faces of the other demetris’ watched her hungrily. “Where are you taking me?” she croaked. A demetris stopped and looked shocked. His eyes turned milky white as he stared into her eyes. “We are going to take you to kill yourself. Don’t you want to be our dinner?” “No!” Amelia shook her head. “Leave me!” “This one is an interesting food,” he said and opened his mouth to reveal his fangs.

Just as I was about to turn and leave, Elisa suddenly shouted, "Leno, you're finally awake!" He lay in Elisa's arms, confused as he looked at the people around him. He struggled to sit up and asked, "Who are you?" When he turned his head and saw me, his gaze lit up instantly. "Flora Hall!" Leno was then taken back to the hospital for further examination. "The excessive dosage of wolfsbane has damaged Alpha Leno's brain and nerves, causing temporary amnesia. His memory has regressed to 15 years ago," a healer said.

All I knew was I was scared shitless of this beast in front of me. “Poor little Aria, a waste of space slut, good for nothing, I should’ve never kept you.” She spat vehemently, winding herself up further. “I thought about it all day and there’s no way you have amnesia; you’re still the same pathetic girl who can’t keep her legs closed. What a pity that you lied to me. I don’t know how you fooled the doctor and everyone else, but you can’t fool me little girl.” “I can’t remember fucking anything! You think this is some sick game I’m playing!” I yelled back after finding my inner strength.

I needed to feed my monsters or there would be consequences. “Hi, handsome. Would you like some company?” I turned and saw an attractive blonde standing next to me. Perfect. I thought to myself. She wasn’t my usual but she would do. So I started my game again. Within thirty minutes she was walking out the door with me. We walked over to my car and I held the door as she climbed in. I smiled to myself as I climbed into the car and drove her to her death. This wasn’t how I wanted the night to end at least not with this woman but it would hold off my demons for now.

Luckily, Chris was quick to pull her hand and lead Senna to where was Amilia standing, or trying to. Lake District was in pandemonium. There was fire all around the buildings. Trees are falling because there was a little shake in the ground. The buildings are collapsing. The ground is breaking and the lake beside was void of water. It was as if the end of the world was happening and all this was just inside the Lake District. It was terrible. But most of all, the most frightening things are the Shades. Huge and ugly monsters. Amilia remembers their claws and their mouths. She also remembered her short trip in the darkness. She can’t let that happen again. Once is enough.

Connor spoke in a low voice as if he expected someone to hear him. Pete had a nice smile and warm inviting eyes but when it came down to it he was a monster of the worst kind, Glory had a weak smile on her face as she looked to the house then the car that rested alone in the driveway. Like a sleeping beast dead to the world but with a simple touch could be rumbling in seconds. There were plenty of times that they wished for nothing more than to run away but they knew no matter how far they ran they would find them. “What would be the point? They are monsters but they are monsters that own us the moment we try to make a run for it we will be dead there are more of them than they are of us.” G

“I guess I should thank him for that.” Valencia looks at me like she doesn’t know what to think of me. “How…interesting.” She murmurs. “But you’re healed from the ordeal, aren’t you?” Is it wrong that I am enjoying this a little? “Kinda. I got a little amnesia now.” I chirp. “Amnesia?” She chokes. “Yeah. I forget Theon and Dr. Haeger when it rains because the bears screwed with my head with a magic room of doom. Oh, and I also see phantoms when I forget Theon. We call them my episodes.”

Each vicious creature the master monster created and manipulated turned its assault on Damonq. Damonq knew they were too close to the lake. Too many of Darkness’s creatures surrounded him. If the monster was successful in killing Amelia, his sliver could escape her body and had a very good chance of returning to him.
