The kind that appears when someone realizes disaster cannot be prevented. The Shadow noticed and smiled. “Yes.” Darkness erupted around its body. “Show her.” The void shattered. Memories exploded into my mind. Not visions. Not fragments. Memories. My memories. Memories I had never lived. I saw myself standing beside the original Aria.
