Sasha’s POV: The next morning, I woke up with Damien’s arms wrapped around me. I pried myself out of his grip, since I felt the urge to use the restroom. Looking at the clock, the time was 10:00 a.m. I got up and walked to the bathroom, and peed. Then I decided to take my bath as well since I was already there. I turned the shower on, waited till the water was warm enough, then I stripped out of my clothes and hopped in. I couldn't help but smile and let my mind wander to last night's sexual moments with my mate as the water fell on me. Damien and I are now mated. Sasha’s grip on the dagger tightened as she positioned herself between Ethan and the creature. “Stay behind me,” she told him, her voice steady despite the fear clawing at her chest. The Wraithlord lunged, its claws swiping through the air, but Sasha met it head-on. The dagger glowed brighter with every strike, each slash of its blade sending the creature reeling back. For a moment, it seemed like she had the upper hand. But then the Wraithlord let out an earsplitting scream, and the shadows around them exploded outward, knocking Sasha off her feet.

Hunter: The road in was long and dumb quiet, the kind of quiet that tells you everything worth knowing has gone to ground. I kept the bike under the trees and moved on foot, boots chewing at the moss. Xavier’s words looped in my head: Find her before he does. Short, sharp, no room for mistakes. “Beta, are you sure that coming here is the right option?” One of the gammas, Brian, asked. “Are you going to question the Alpha, Brian?” I asked, and he shook his head.

Luna Camilla sat in the alpha office, her gaze icy as she regarded Alpha Cassius and his family. The Alpha and his daughter, Thelia, looked nervous and guilty under her scrutiny. She was aware that they had hoped for a mating alliance between Asher and Thelia, but Luna Camilla had never entertained the idea. Thelia was too volatile, too spoiled, and too hard to control. However, Camilla had never anticipated that Asher would find his mate in a half-breed like Olivia. That, she could not allow.

Uncertain glances exchanged between Alphas who'd never met Valeria but knew the legends. "It's true!" one of Harrison's warriors shouted from below the platform. "Sasha has the power. She'll prove it today." Sasha closed her eyes. She raised both arms, palms up, and held the pose like a priestess receiving divine light. The warriors around her bowed their heads in unison. The whole thing moved with the practiced rhythm of a performance they'd rehearsed. I watched from the lower railing. Maya had finished her work at the food stalls and squeezed in beside me, smelling like smoke and roasted chestnuts.

I shift into human form knowing my wolf form would scare whoever is in there. “ char??? Is that you?” I yelled out making my way over to the bathroom, I can’t communicate with her in wolf form yet, not caring about the fact that I’m fully necked I swing the door open. She sat on the floor by the toilet crying her eyes out. She’s covered head to toe in blood. “ Are you hurt?” Sliding against the floor I land next to her on my knees searching her for any injuries that could cause this much blood. “ n.. no..” she mumbled. I can still smell the wolfsbane on her but it was weak like it's almost out of her system. For a half breed I’m impressed by how fast she’s healed

"You may enter." The door slowly creaked open and in stepped Sasha, the beta's second daughter. She had her dark hair in a bun and had on a turtle-neck dress hiding her athletic figure. This one could ride for days without her knees getting tired. She was taller than her elder sister and had a six-pack that could put most of the male wolf’s six-pack to shame. Sasha wasn't as pretty as Sara, but her head game was fire. As she got closer the Alpha realized she reeked of Vick’s vapor rub. The scent was driving his wolf into a frenzy.

Maya turned, her gaze meeting ours as almost like she had felt our presence. “Do you want to say hello?” I asked. Sasha smirked, her fingers brushing slowly around the diamond that adorned her neck, “It would be rude if we didn’t, and don’t you think so?” I smiled, “Very rude,” She led the way and I followed like her disciple. I had created a monster and I wasn’t scared of it. The Conrads had tried to tame her down, but that was their mistake, Sasha Hawkins isn’t a woman to be tied down. She is a bird meant to be out there, free and happy. And I was going to give her the field to explore.

Win would've been sacrificed. "Those animals!" Sasha threw herself into Winter's arms. Her shoulders shook as she cried, guilt flooding her voice. Around the time Winter gave birth, Sasha had been overseas on a mission with Blake, where she was shot and remained unconscious for half a month. Winter never spoke of what happened, and Sasha never imagined something so horrifying had occurred. "It's all over now," Winter said softly, patting her back. "I'm fine now, right?" The words were light, but the pain behind them was immeasurable.

Woman has a shaved head on one side, long purple hair on the other. "Sasha," Kiema said. "Wicked good telepath. Although not psychic. I could hide my deeper thoughts from her."
