I knew it wasn't too late to turn around, but turning back wasn't an option right now. 'A hundred percent' I replied with a brilliant smile. We were in the woods and it would be dark soon. I saw powerful light that was impossible to look at appeared from the east. That was the direction I was facing.

They are even more incredible up close. They’re long and leathery like the wings of a bat. The urge to touch them and find out what they feel like is irresistible.
