JUMP AND THE GODS THEMSELVES WILL GIVE YOU WINGS I close my eyes and listen to it's call, leaning closer and closer into its sweet embrace. I close my eyes and bite my lip. I see why The Angels would want to leave from here. "Goddess you look beautiful!" A deep voice says from behind me. I whirl around almost loosing my footing. Strong hands grip my waist and pull me from the ledge to make sure I don't fall. Warmth radiates from where our skin touches. I look up and into familiar eyes, eyes I will never be able to forget. I immediately pull out of the embrace.

“You have crumbled my wing!” Angela stood up from the thing and helped it up. “I am sorry I did not mean to hurt you but…” Angela got cut from her words when she raised her head and looked at all the winged beings in her front. There were dozens of them. She did not believe what she was seeing. “What the…” she asked herself taking her eyes from one-winged being to another. They were beautiful but strange. They had different weird-looking hairstyles, clothes, colors of eyes, skin, and hair…everything was weird about them but the butterfly wings they had on their body was what really wowed her.

He smiled triumphantly. "Great. Thanks for doing this. Have a fun night." "I will," he said, already focusing of the music. I turned, facing the front door, and saw Gabe standing near the entrance. The angelic man took my breath away. Definitely movie star material. But it wasn't his beyond gorgeous looks or the way his blue jeans hung low on his hips. It wasn't even the way his white shirt clung to his, torso showing off all of his muscles. It was the giant white wings on his back. They were fully extended, showing off like a peacock hoping to attract his mate.

He picks me up and I securely lock my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. "Keep your eyes closed. I don't need you getting sick." he simply states. He takes us through the doorway and back onto the ledge before jumping as his large black wings unfurl from his back and spread out, nearly touching my arms. I feel as we soar up into a mist of pure darkness and manage to catch a glimpse of Levi before shutting my eyes and burying my face in his neck. His arms stay securely around me, holding me against him as we fly so fast it nearly takes my breath away.

It was the voice of an angel in song. “I suppose I'll join in, then,” Samael said under his breath. He raised his arms; shadows enveloped him. A howling wind appeared, and six pairs of wings materialized on his back. He flexed the black pinions, draping them across him so he was veiled in darkness.

Many female angels donned large white and ivory wings, while mine held a hint of gold at the tips. I inched forward, only to have a few stares and their walks continued like there wasn’t a care in the world. I let out a sigh. No one was out to get me. There was no evil here out in the open with too many angels around.

Perfect. "I haven't seen your wings in a while." I started, he raised an eyebrow. "You bought a lot of canvas and I need to fill them up with something. I think your wings are perfect, can you show me?" Perhaps I was too keen as his brow went higher than normal. "Please," I added. He chortled. "You don't have to beg, baby, I can show you my wings." My smile widened and I waited and watched as a pair of dark, black wings emerged from his back. Curiously, I got behind him and traced my hand on his feathers. They were dark and pretty, what a waste.

The person on the other side stated. I had to clear my throat before I could respond “Angels shouldn’t have clipped wings.” “I understand hold just a moment.” The man that had answered pressed a few buttons and before I knew it, I could hear June’s voice through the phone, “Are you safe?” June was straight to the point, but in her line of work I assume she had to be.

All eyes were on the star's ascension, watching it unfolded into bursting wings of light. Lars has transformed into a white armored angel with six divine wings hovering behind his back, connected by a golden halo. The armor was his own solidified Scion Force, sparkling in majestic grandeur of white and gold. A sword patterned crown rested on Lars' head, having the same royal pattern as his brilliantly burning Celestial Calibur.

"If you don't have wings, then what are those things on your back?" I looked over my shoulder, and my eyes widened in total shock. Attached to my back was a pair of transparent wings that sparkled like silver. "So, I really did die? Is this truly what heaven feels like?" "You are so strange! Just move along, you're blocking my sunlight!" the grass grumbled. "Oh, all right. You’re not very friendly!" Brrrr! The red-lipped grass simply stuck out its tongue at me in a most discourteous manner.
