Angels Vengeance Novels & Stories

The Gilded Cage Three Months Ago The city lights of the capital blurred into long, neon ribbons of gold and violet against the rain-flecked window of the armored sedan. Lucien Varkas stared at his own reflection in the glass—a man who looked every bit the Alpha of the LV Pack Hunters, yet felt like a ghost haunting his own life. The silence in the car was heavy, a physical weight that pressed against his lungs. He was counting the street lamps, imagining each one was a mile marker leading him away from this life, away from the Cross dynasty, away from the scent of the woman sitting beside him.

I told myself it was probably nothing. It was just after 8 when I saw Angel passed out. I figured the raid wouldn’t happen till daylight. That they’d sleep first, eat breakfast, call for backup, and then maybe march in at 8 a.m. sharp. But midnight? They came at fucking midnight. It was smart. Ruthless. A goddamn blindside. And now—I’d lose everything. The guns. The files. The safehouses. Half of my men. Tomas. And Angel… Fuck. Angel was out there. In this crossfire.

The original peace treaty still lay in the position it had millenniums beforehand, untouched by visitors. Dusty pages flipped silently. Words flew threw his mind at inhuman speed. He had been reading about the unwritten rule of pureblood angels. These angels were to only be royalty, however it came with a deadly price. Many of these newborns were ticking time bombs of anguish and destruction, having the power to level entire cities. Some never made it past infancy. This caused a very large shortage in heirs to the throne, with only one child surviving every millennium.

But it seemed like he was all too lost. "Welcome everyone to the death of the lady Amorivia!" The Angel raised his head to gaze up at Tenshi. "Don't worry. She will restart soon." Not a second wasted and Tenshi attacked the Angel. It is clear to him that he was of no match for the Angel but he can't stop the hatred and regret in his heart. Inside his chest is being consumed by a dark force that keeps him from thinking straight. The others couldn't just stand there, they have to take Amorivia's body. The ran to get it but they were stopped by the old man with his subordinate, that girl and boy.

"Then I'll destroy him." Angel swallowed hard, this side of Gamma that she had never seen before. She knew the annoying and pushy Gamma, she knew the elegant and mature Gamma at parties. She knew Gamma was mysterious and seemed unapproachable when he played the violin, but she had never seen Gamma's vengeful and cruel side — it felt terrifying. "You can't refuse." Gamma watched Angel reflect, thinking that Angel would reject him. "You promised to do anything for me. This includes it." Dammit, Gamma! Angel cursed the man secretly, feeling annoyed that Gamma really took advantage of the words that Angel spoke at that time. Okay. Now she knew that this man was cruel and didn't hesitate to take

Slumping down on the ground, I try to rise, but chunks flow out of my lips, and my body quivers painfully. Just then, a whooshing sound resounds around me. Looking up, I find myself surrounded by two angels and several hellhounds. One of the angels steps forward, his face set in a sneer as he uses his boot to roughly push me onto my back. Crying out in pain, I tighten my lips and fully face the angels. Both angels have golden hair and eyes, as well as large feathered wings. Based on the color of their feathers, I can see that they’re seraphim. “Where’s Galena?” The seraphim scream out, enraged.

(TRISTAN'S POV) ‘Vengeance is of the Lord,’ I always preached it when I was a priest. I was once an angel with the bible, winning souls for Christ. Now a devil with an empire, sending souls to hell. I’ve tasted light and darkness, and I must confess: Black tastes better. Fuck, justice, I’ll rather play God. Answer that prayer with a knife and a coffin. The weak depend on faith. The strong make their fate. And in this moment, staring at Kendrick’s turbulent eyes, I relive all the sins of my life: from losing my virginity to fucking Bunny more times than my heartbeat—I realize that vengeance is sweeter than sex.

he whispered, and this time I heard him clearly. Baby? Is that what angels call people now? Wait…no. This isn’t right. I…I died. I felt the fall. I heard my bones break. I tasted blood. I made a wish for vengeance. So… how am I here? Can anyone survive that fall? Or… Did something hear me? Some entity? Some force that feeds on pain and revenge? If that was the price… if I was reborn for vengeance…then I would pay it. Gladly.

I burst through the front door and started clearing the house. A fully shifted angel came out of nowhere and punched me in the face. He was magnificent with his white wings glowing gold which meant he was a warrior angel and I was in some trouble. We scuffled in the kitchen, and I grabbed a knife from the block. For the first time I was worried, angels were one species that could kill demons the easiest and here I was facing an unknown ranked warrior. I could see in his eyes the determination to kill me. There was something else going on here, but I couldn’t bring myself to think about it. It was him or me. I dodged a punch and found an opening. I plunged that knife into his chest. The scre
