Angels Vengeance Novels & Stories

And suddenly…I knew exactly how I wanted to spend it. Me: I'm off today. Three dots appeared almost immediately. Angel: Come see me. I smiled. Me: Now? Is the Den even open this early? Angel: It opens when I say it does. A laugh escaped me. Arrogant bastard. Me: I'll be there soon. Angel: I'll be waiting, kitten. My stomach fluttered. The Angel's Den felt completely different during the day. Mostly because it was empty. No music. No masked strangers. No bartenders. Just the quiet elegance of black marble, burgundy furniture and gold. My heels echoed through the enormous room.

Instead she spoke calmly. “So I'm here to ask you to protect me and my brother. You're the reason we are now a target for gang wars.” “No.” I refused immediately. Her face fell. She came closer. “Why?” “First, you owe me more than enough. I'm not about to add more when you can't pay the ones you owe,” I said simply. Angel lowered her eyes. She looked so dejected yet I wasn't moved. Such tactics wouldn't work on me. “If that's all, then leave.”

hidden in their shadows. Angel walked forward, her heels clicking sharply against the cobblestones, entirely out of place in the rugged winter courtyard. Her eyes swept over the kneeling Elder Thomas, the disheveled Valerie, and finally landed on Draven’s bare, scarred chest. A sudden flash of greedy regret crossed her face when she realized the "monstrous" Alpha she had rejected was a magnificent, powerful god. "Well, well," Angel purred, her voice carrying a high-pitched, haughty velvet tone. "I come to check on the family arrangement, and I find my little stepsister completely failing to keep her husband's bed warm."

vanished into thin air. I dropped to my knees, frustrated. Tears streamed down my face like a flood. I wept into the palm of my hand, feeling guilty and sorry for myself. The rogue lycans scattered. The vampires withdrew. They scattered like rats, unwilling to lose the war as they were already seeing the outcome. I could hear loud cheers from where I was. That was the sound of victory, coming from the Duskborn blood. I managed to get on my feet, and walk out to where I could see them.

that he would reach the point where he would one by one erase my family from the world because of his selfishness. So, now that I was lucky enough to survive the accident I faced to escape my demon husband, I would really use the miracle that happened to me to get up and start again. And when the time is right, I will return to them. I will return him to pay for his arrears to me. "When he returned to this country, we welcomed him with cruel karma. I will take Sarah back and I will make that family suffer the deluge they made me suffer. Because the moment we face each other once again, they will taste how sweet my vengeance is.”

Maybe that was why I gave him an answer, despite the fact that it all was hella creepy. “I want my sister, Stella. I want to be with her. I want Aaron to pay for what he did to me. I want all of them to pay. I need justice!” The words left me in a succession of cries, raw with emotion. “I will give it to you. I will give you everything and you can get your revenge from the one who wronged you mostly, the Goddess. She let your parents be taken from you. She gave you a cruel mate. You were only a child, a young girl who never knew pleasure or power, yet she coldly let you die. Your Goddess left you alone to fend for yourself and perish. I am here to make right of her wrongdoings.” He ran his t

But then that was an old law. Xavier nodded in confirmation and he returned his gaze to Rufus. Whatever the bastard must have gone through or the injustice he figured was done to his lineage, Angel did not think that justified his actions. Angel gave the man an emotionless gaze with a smug smirk, tugging the corners of his lips. “You should know, I just smashed Dan's head against the wall, splitting his head like a ball of melon before clawing his guts out...” Angel said. Antonio Rufus snarled at him. Angel laughed. “and this haven of yours, is going to be rubbles in the next minute....” He allowed the laughter to die on his face, making him see the pure hate in his cold, grey eyes.

“That mercy lives in me?” Tears burned at the corners of my eyes, hot and unwelcome, but I refused to let them fall. I wouldn’t give him that victory. I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of seeing me broken. “You’re a monster,” I spat, the words tasting like steel. “And you…” His gaze lingered, slow and consuming, tracing every curve of my face, burning into me. “…are the only one who sees the monster and doesn’t cower.” My breath hitched. Anger surged, faltered, and cracked under the weight of his intensity. “I hate you.”
