It was a moment of respite, a brief escape from the confines of my current reality.
I was in the midst of drying my body with the towel, the warmth of the fabric soothing against my skin, when I felt a sudden movement on my shoulder. Startled, I turned my head to look, and to my horror, I saw a frog perched there. My immediate reaction was instinctual, a shriek escaping my lips as I jumped back, my heart pounding in my chest.
The frog, startled by my reaction, leaped off my shoulder and hopped away, disappearing into the room. I watched it with a mix of disgust and relief, grateful that it was no longer clinging to me. I have never been fond of frogs, particularly when they invaded my person
