She stood up and followed them. Leanunya followed the tracks silently drawing a dagger out from its sheath. She followed the tracks and soon spotted the rabbit underneath a bush nibbling on some grass. It had brown grey fur and hadn’t noticed Leanunya. She watched a moment before throwing her dagger with perfect accuracy straight into the rabbit's heart. It didn’t even have time to flinch as it froze up dead.

Almera asked her eyes sparkling. “I am planning to charge…” Mira scratched her head and pouted “I was going to ask you how much you pay for a rabbit.” “Ha…ha…ha...” Almera laughed as pinched Mira’s cheek and rang the bell for her footman. “Tyle, how much can I buy a rabbit for?” “A plump rabbit would be 3 gold coins without fur and 4 gold coins with fur. A normal one would be 2 gold coins without fur and 3 gold coins with fur.” Tyle paused “Madam that is if you are lucky to get one.”

"Mommy, Daddy and I picked her out together! I named her Sera. Do you like her?" I looked down. Inside the iron cage, the rabbit was huddled tight. Its fur was pure white, but its eyes were bottomless pits of black. "Pet her, Mommy. Sera is such a sweet girl." I forced a smile and reached out my hand. The next second, the rabbit lunged, sinking its incisors deep into my fingertip. A sharp pain shot through my hand. Golden Elven blood instantly welled up, and the rabbit began to lap it up greedily.

As they explored further, they couldn't help feeling that something or someone was watching them from the shadows. Suddenly, something was darting through the trees in front of them. Lord Zathur exclaimed it was merely a rabbit, bringing sighs of relief from the party. Everyone seemed relieved, except for Prince Alexander who realized the rabbit was the same one he had seen in the river near their camp; its fur was two toned, with dark patches along its back. As if sensing danger, the rabbit took off, and the party gave chase. The lords, bodyguards, and even the prince himself ran after the poor creature, hoping to catch it before it disappeared into the shadows.

“Y-You…” His eyes darkened, a dangerous fire flaring behind his gaze. “You’re awake.” I tried to sit up. Failed. Mr. Yellow slapped my cheek lightly with a tiny paw. “Don’t move, darling, you look like a boiled cabbage.” “Gee, thanks,” I muttered. “My self-esteem so needed that.” King Alpha Sparkly Abs turned to glare at the rabbit. “Did it just talk?” Mr. Yellow raised a paw. “Did you just interrupt our mystical cabbage funeral, Your Fluffiness?”

Khiron joined in immediately, his own laughter mixing with mine until we were both leaning against furniture because standing upright while laughing this hard was impossible. "The rabbit," I managed to get out between laughs. "That stupid rabbit caused all of this." "The rabbit that you screamed at like it was a serial killer," Khiron added, wiping at his eyes. "It jumped out at me!" "It's a bunny. A tiny, fluffy bunny." "With very long ears and too many legs moving too fast!" "Rabbits have four legs, Nia. The normal amount of legs." I found it funny that he calls me Jane doe and my name, really is Jane (he doesn't know this though).

The elf queen sneered at Black Rabbit, obviously disgusted by his shameful behavior. “You don't need to worry about me. Just know that your strength is no match for my boss. To tell you the truth, we’re here for your elf water. If you know what's good for you, you should have it over to us at once. We’ll kill you if you refuse to cooperate.” Black Rabbit was very smug. He suddenly felt good about having a boss. It was great to do whatever he wanted wherever he went. Besides, he felt very proud about having such a powerful boss.
