“Damn,” she said, audibly impressed. “Look at you, putting in the work. What brought this on?”
I stirred the rice in, letting the flavors marry while I answered. “I needed to do something real with my hands. All the digital digging, the screenshots, the writeups, I needed a break from looking at Jane’s delusional spiral.”
There was a pause on her end. “Wait. Screenshots? Writeups?”
“I might have opened Jane’s I*******m account and started taking screenshots of her obsessive behavior. And then I may have documented Jane’s behavior, social posts, and patterns. I even started a clinical profile. Just for myself. Helps me process it without getting emotional.” I explained.
