My veins felt like they were filled with acid. I grit my teeth and forced my head up. On the other side of the glass wall stood Drazhan.

A kind of smile that read satisfaction. “Ah,” she whispered. “You’ve found a Junazus Stone.” Dalian glanced at Lucian, who looked just as confused. Junazus Stone? The name alone sent a chill through him. Nyx’s tone changed—less creepy and more focused.

Viktor divulged. "Oh I'm sorry, pardon me miss. I'm Stone and I'm his best friend and the Beta of this pack. If you're the reason he got to this pack I must say thank you because I love this guy so much that I can't stand him getting hurt" he held my hands softly and then walked over to where Viktor was standing.
