he murmured, his nose once again finding its home in the crook of my neck. Then the world dissolved into a symphony of horror and awe. The sickening noise of bones cracking and flesh rearranging filled the air, a wet, visceral cacophony that made me gag. Annabelle and Jim’s bodies contorted, expanding, their limbs elongating until fur erupted from their skin and they dropped onto four paws. Two howls split the air. Where they had stood, two massive wolves now towered over me. One, a behemoth of dark brown fur streaked with gold, had eyes the color of molten amber. Its fur was an ethereal blend of white, black and grey, forming strange patterns that almost looked like ruins. His face was slightly in a wolf shape while his body had turned more flexible and strong. More muscular and heavy. His hands and feet were looking like paws. Maya's eyes wandered downwards hesitantly. This was the first time when she had forced his wolf to come out in sexual hunger. And man, was it a mistake?
